Jonkinlaista terapiaa
[Kainuun Sanomat / blogit 20.11.2012 ]
Inspiraatio on ollut hieman hukassa. Se on jännä kun yrittää tehdä jotakin luovempaa, niin miten helposti mieliala romuttaa sen. Jotkut tuntuvat olevan luovimmillaan alamaissa, kun riutuvat ja kituvat rakkaudessaan, surussaan ja tuskissaan. Minä olen enemmänkin aina sen onnellisen mielialan suitsuttaja. Rakkautta ja onnellisuutta ja iloa ja ystävyyttä.
Ja…

Youtube: Hostel living for over 3 months
We ended up living in a hostel, when we came to Italy 🇮🇹 and tried to find an apartment, which proved to be more difficult than anticipated. The fact is that Italian language skills play a big role in obtaining an apartment in Italy, and we did not speak much, when we came here. We stayed in Milano for over 3 months and in the end, we finally found an inexpensive flat in Sicily.
I was surprised…

Cinabro Carrettieri makes colourful handicrafts
Colourfull carts were essential during the 1800s to mid 1900s, the cart is an important part of Sicilian folklore and iconography.
Have you heard of Cinabro Carrettieri? It’s a cartmakers shop in Ragusa Ibla, where they make traditional carts and carriages by hand. I’m talking old-school craftsmanship, and definitely not mass-produced stuff. Essential during the 1800s to mid 1900s, the cart is an important part of Sicilian folklore and iconography. “The same way that monuments and buildings tell the story of our humanity,…

verb types in finnish
moi!
I’m revising and, even though I know this has probably been shared a thousand times, I wanted to have this on my blog,
I copied this straight from my notes from when I first started finnish (before I put it on hold for months bc of my depression). if you can improve this, just tell me and I will update the post!!
there are six verb types in finnish:
verbityyppi 1:
most common
verb ends in two vowels (-aa, -ää, -ea, -eä, -ia, -iä, etc.)
to conjugate, remove the second vowel (-a or -ä) and add the personal suffixes
example: puhua -> puhun, puhut, puhuu, puhumme, puhutte, puhuvat
verbityyppi 2:
verb ends in -da/-dä
to conjugate, remove -da/-dä and add the personal suffixes
huom! the third person singular doesn’t get the last letter doubled like in tyyppi 1!!
example: juoda -> juon, juot, juo, juomme, juotte, juovat
verbityyppi 3:
verb ends in two consanants + one vowel (-lla, -llä, -rra, -rrä, -nna, -nnä, -sta/-stä)
to conjugate, remove the last two letters (-la, -lä, -ra, -rä, -na, -nnä, -ta, -tä)
huom! before adding the personal endings, add -e
example: pestä -> pesen, peset, pesee, pesemme, pesette, peseävät
verbityyppi 4:
verb ends in vowel + -t + vowel (-ata, -ätä, -ota, -ötä, -uta, ytä)
to conjugate, remove just -t (not final vowel!!)
huom! the third person singular gains an extra -a or -ä only when the two vowels from the stem are different (example: siivota -> siivoan, sivoat, sivoaa, sivoamme, siivoatte, siivoavat)
example: pelata -> pelaan, pelaat, pelaa, pelaamme, pelaatte, pelaavat
verbityyppi 5:
verb ends in -ita or -itä
to conjugate, remove -ta or -tä + add -tse- before the personal endings
huom! sometimes verbs that end in -ita or -itä are conjugated as verb type 4
example: tarvita -> tarvitsen, tarvitset, tarvitsee, tarvitsemme, tarvitsette, tarvitsevat
verbityyppi 6:
very rare
verb ends in -eta or -etä
to conjugate, remove -ta or -tä + add -ne- before the personal endings
example: suureta -> suurenen, suurenet, suurenee, suurenemme, suurenette, suurenevat
huom!! always be mindful of consonant gradiation and exceptions!!
examples: juosta (verbityyppi 3) -> juoksen, juokset, juoksee, juoksemme, juoksette, juoksevat
again, pls pls pls make additions in the notes and correct typos/mistakes!! I will update this regularly
