i was talking to people who went to the jimmy fallon filming outside of my ritual and they were telling me about how awkward it was for the band. for so long the ghouls were just standing right off the side of the “stage” and just. hovering and waiting for their cue to gear up. they did one take of lachryma and the crew was SILENT no one gave anyone in the band any sort of signal so v turned to dew after the long moment of nothing and said “did we shit the bed?” but his mic was ON and it filled the whole studio. i have not stopped replaying this in my head since it was told to me. did we shit the bed. dewdrop did we shit the bed.

HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY TO THIS STELLAR ALBUM! Where do I begin with explaining my love for this album? I’ll keep it short but sweet. One of the first songs I’ve heard from Ghost was From the Pinnacle to the Pit, and I very much enjoyed it.

The sound, is unlike any other album— and I mean that. I’m absolutely okay with there being only one Meliora album. It has such a tremendous yet elegant feel to it. Every song is a banger, and nothing thrills me more than hearing that opening song, Spirit.

This piece done for the anniversary was completed way back in May, but the initial sketch was made August…of last year! I wasn’t able to complete this on time, so why not save it for its 10th anniversary?

I love this era so much, despite how it ended and how it changed the lineup. I tend to fixate more on its pre-lawsuit era, but overall, this era has my favorite papa; and my favorite ghoul. (including looks. that mask is iconic.) It’s the one era I center my art and ideas around the most. Thank you Ghost for the creation of this album, and the inspiration that has come with it.

Back at it again with the ghoul character sheets. I finally came around to do Haze and Storm

Headcanons under the cut (it's not that much though because I'm still unsure of their personalities):

Perpetua used his own blood for Haze's summoning instead of a sacrifice. He is now stuck with a ghoul that shares the same aesthetic and is obsessed with him.

Haze is one of the rare multighouls that use silver motifs instead of gold. She and Phil are the only ghouls so far with a skull pattern

Storm's horns can conduct lightning, and therefore electricity. For the first few days since his summoning, he was not allowed near water

Storm's design is based on a Steller's sea eagle
