Now I'm knee deep in looking at fanart and thinking about the lore

My Tmnt 2012 mutant apocalypse au I revisit once in a blue moon

Here’s Leo’s final design

Freshly double mutated he’s 7 feet tall with spindly limbs, and a huge tail. His traumatized brain basically reboots and he’s left in a childlike mindset with only fragments of memories from his life before. Old injuries are flaring up. His muddled brain and damaged throat can’t figure out how to form words. He’s left without a voice.

Being double mutated is as bad as it looks. Physically and mentally it affects the victim.

Trigger warning ahead!! Blood and injury, Unintentional self-harm, self mutilation and self cannibalism.

When he wakes up, he finds himself in agony. His arm is completely broken, pointing in the opposite direction with the bone protruding from his skin. He throws up immediately.

He doesn’t know what to do.

For days he wanders the city wreckage, hiding from any life forms he comes across. He hasn’t eaten and there’s no fresh water anywhere to drink. His broken arm hangs limply at his side, sluggishly bleeding. Not only does the injury start to smell, but his skin has begun to slowly turn black and bubbly.

The realization scares him. This thing is attached to him and it needs to be gone. In a panic, he grabs at his useless limb and pulls. Tears run down his face as he screams. Skin tears as delicate nerves snap. He pulls and pulls.

The bone stays stubbornly in place, unbroken at the joint. HE NEEDS IT GONE!!!

With a howl of pain, he grabs the hand with his teeth and yanks as hard as he can. The pain is blinding.

What was once his arm is lying in front of him, completely shredded from the use of his teeth.

He turns to look at the torn skin of his now stump, from just below his shoulder. There’s a puddle of his blood on the ground and more continues to drip down. He licks his teeth as his stomach growls. Why did the remnants of skin in his mouth make him hungry. Really hungry… he looked at the thing on the ground in a new light. Not an arm, not a part of him… A meal, A feast.

He jumped at it and sunk his teeth into what was once his arm. He curled his tail protectively around himself, daring anyone to come near and steal his catch. He devoured the skin and muscle, and licked the bone clean. He gnawed on the bone for a while. “His bone” a wicked voice said in his ear. He shrugged it off.

His stump had stopped bleeding at this point. Relieved at the fact he left to find water.

He was left with only his instincts. 3 things he needed to survive. food: check. Water and shelter were all he needed now.

The bone was left to decompose into the ground or be eaten by scavengers. It had once been apart of him. A last shred of humanity would’ve been used to leave it and find something else to eat. In that moment, pure instinct took over. Pure animal instinct. Survive off his own flesh or die.

I feel better! I've been playing a game where I'm literally a dinosaur for a few hours and I've been very happy. Inspiration has returned to me, and to keep an emotional balance I've been reading fanfics of my favorite writer @imagionationstation again to cry again <3

So I am in perfect balance. I have found inner peace lmao

Big mama in a pantsuit? I feel like she’d rock that. She was the first thing that came to mind. If it was just turtles you were looking for then what about Raph holding an uncooked(regular) turtle. Imagine how strange it must be. His baby brother used to be tiny.
