And anyway, I was watching a video about bats and viruses (How bats survive carrying so many viruses inside their bodies etc) and in the video, the scientist was explaining that mitochondria is a part inside the cell that produces energy, with its own DNA that its inherited exclusively from the mother, the father is irrevelant in that matter. I didn’t make the connection at first, then @fadedpurplesummer, who smarter than me, made me notice.
