Overview

Persona 5, which has sold more than 2.7 million units worldwide, is reborn with countless new elements added. The student life is further completed with the previously untold third school semester. A new character that is the key to approaching the depths appears. And new formidable foes as well…

■ New Character: Kasumi Yoshizawa (voiced by Sora Amamiya)

A beautiful girl who transfers to Shujin Academy the same year the protagonist moves to Tokyo. She has made outstanding achievements as a rhythmic gymnast since middle school, and Shujin Academy has great expectations for her future. She seems to admire the protagonist, but rejects the Phantom Thieves…? Whether she is an enemy or ally remains to be seen.

■ New Confidant: Takuto Maruki (voiced by Satoshi Hino)

A new confidant of the Phantom Thieves. A part-time school counselor hired at the concern of the students followed by the case of a certain teacher that occurred in April at Shujin Academy. With his good listening skills and detailed advice, he is popular among the students. His arcana is “Le Consultant.”

SSSS. Gridman and RikkaAkane

Might just be me but while watching SSSS. Gridman I’m getting Rikka x Akane vibes.

In Episode 5 Rikka blushes for the first time and it’s because Akane makes a joke about having Rikka putting sunblock on her.

Not forgetting Episode 4 which establishes several things about the two’s relationship.

1. That they used to be good friends.

2. Both are very NOT interested in The Boys.

3. Rikka genuinely wants to rekindle their ‘friendship’ (And I hope more)

4. Akane doesn’t want to hurt Rikka. (While this is not done explicitly, she doesn’t send Kaijuu after Rikka even when Rikka isn’t being completely cooperative with her questions about Hibiki, which is surprising to say the least because Akane sent Kaijuu after the Arcadia boys just for being too friendly with here.)

The point is that she has a short temper and it just doesn’t go off at Rikka.

5. Plus let’s not forget how quickly Rikka changes her mind from “I don’t really wanna hang out with the Arcadia boys” to “I’m going” once Akane says she’s going too.

On the other hand, Rikka - Hibiki is pretty one sided, sure Hibiki likes Rikka, but Rikka’s completely platonic.

Look you can feel the distance.

Even in the placement of their bags. Here’s Rikka, Hibiki and Utsumi’s bags,

And Do I Have To Mention The ED?

This is not the gaze of just a friend.

They’re so comfortable with each other.

There are also hints of Rikka x Akane in the OP.

Rikka is looking for/at Akane.

Plus a part of me is hoping these held hands in the OP are Akane and Rikka’s.
