A graduate of the Peristylium Suzaku, Emina now serves as a commanding officer to the students. She is liked for her cheerful and fun personality, but she also harbours a dark secret.During her time as a student, she was good friends with Kurasame and Kazusa, and still maintains her friendship with them at the Peristylium.

ooc;
This is just a formal notice to say that I won't be returning to the PD masterlist as Emina this time. Unfortunately I haven't had much of a muse for her, and I don't foresee this changing any time soon.
To all who I've met and/or roleplayed with during my (short) time here, thank you all. And for those who I had threads with, I'm sorry for leaving them unfinished.
I will be keeping this account, but as I will not be affiliated with the PD masterlist anymore you may unfollow me.
Tumblr media
Well then, that's all I wanted to say. Miss Emina out~.

Headcanon 02
Emina loves to cook; her specialty is baking, mainly desserts like cookies, cakes, sweets etc.
One of her favourite recipes is macarons, and not surprisingly the two people she loves to bake for are Kurasame and Kazusa. Her desserts have notably gained her the trust of Kurasame's tonberry, who has a bit of a sweet tooth when it comes to Emina's cooking.

Now that the formalities and introductions were out of the way, Emina wasn't really sure what else there was to say. Unlike her, King seemed quiet and closed off, a little reluctant to talk. Perhaps it was a matter of finding a subject he was interested in, but the conversations they had had thus far seemed to end rather quickly.
"Fufu... say King, would you mind doing me a little errand~?" she murmured, producing a small letter from her pocket. "Kurasame-kun has been avoiding me lately; either that, or I just haven't seen him around. Would you mind passing this onto him for me~?"
He chuckled humorlessly, though there was barely even a small smile on her face as he did.  “I suppose he is.  I don’t know.  I don’t really pay attention to his job,” he admitted with his shrug.  Lately, he had been more concerned with what happened in his class than anything else.  But it was true there had been no strange rumours about Kazusa around the school as of late, which was an improvement.
“Likewise,” he replied after a brief moment of hesitation, his gaze following her hands before he quickly looked away, hoping she hadn’t noticed the glance he’d stolen.

Turning around to face to source of the voice that answered his yells he found a somewhat familiar face. “Oh you. You’re the woman from that Terrace at that one school right?” He mumbled still somewhat embarrassed about when he first met her. “Luneth” He said sticking out a hand in front of him to fill the space between them.
Looking back down as if to read the instructions over again he blinked a couple of times and lowered his head to the paper as if to keep himself from having to look at her. “Erm so we have to deliver a letter to a erm
"Ufufu, so you do remember me~. Ah, that makes me happy," Emina replied, sauntering towards the young boy to eye him carefully. She had never caught his name the first time they met, so it was good he was introducing himself now.
With a small wink, she took his hand in hers and smiled. She was looking forward to getting to know him a little better on this small mission of theirs. Chuckling, she took the paper from him and read out their instructions.
"Elmina? In Twilight Town~?" Emina read off the paper, taking a peek at the envelope that came with the instructions. "Fufu, I suppose we should get a move on then~."

It had seemed like a simple errand. And Emina loved moogles, so she was more than happy to help one out when the offer had come about. However, she had no idea she would be receiving a partner to help in the delivery process. After all, one person was more than enough for the job, was it not?
Apparently not, as she peered down at the instructions she had been given. A single name was scribbled alongside the note; Luneth. He must have been her partner, but she had no idea how to start searching for him. Suddenly, she heard a loud voice calling for her name. Well then, that hadn't been too hard.
"That would be me~," Emina said cheerfully, waltzing over to the source of the cry. Strange, the boy looked awfully familiar. "Say, we've met before haven't we~?"
Tumblr media
Receiving a letter of instruction Luneth looked it over with all the seriousness in his being, he had been given a job. It was to deliver mail, but he didn’t care a job was a job. But as he read it over a second time he saw he had been assigned a partner… He stared from the instructions to the name. Lavender hues continued to stare down the print on the paper as if watching it would reveal whom the name belong too.
Calmly he fold the paper back into thirds, took a deep breath, held it and looked back and forth before exhaling and all at once yelling in a complete and utter panic. “Who is Emina?!”

Captain Rygdea, she repeated mentally to herself. It was no wonder he was being so polite with her.
"There's no need for the formalities~," Emina said cheerfully, waving him off. "And no, I was simply taking a look around. I'm Emina, by the way~."

“Former Cavalry Captain Rygdea at your service ma’am. Something I can do for you?”

"Hmm~. I'm not sure, what do you think would look good in his lab~? I think he could definitely use some Christmas lights, it's so dark in there I don't know how he manages~."

“That is such a good idea! Taichou can’t deny our holiday spirit then! Ya have great ideas Miss~! How ya gonna decorate Kazusa’s lab~?”

"Yes yes, a magic academy in fact~," Emina continued, clapping her hands together. "It's a beautiful school with lots of students around, and instructors too~."
When she leaned in, she noticed him pull back, even if it was just slightly. Good, that was the reaction she had been expecting. It amused her, though she noticed his expression had hardly changed.
"Mmm~? No, I was just thinking," she began with a smile. "You remind me of a friend of mine~. He's not very talkative or expressive either. He's also a teacher, by the way~."
“A school?” That also explained the couple of children who donned a uniform. But what was a l’Cie doing at a school of all places? “It…seems so.”
Before he knew it, Emina was much closer for much comfort. He flinched almost unnoticeably before leaning back, his expression remaining the same, keeping his arms folded behind him. “Is there something concerning you?”
He canted his head, puzzled as to why she smiled.

"Oh, is that so~?" Emina asked, clapping her hands together. "Do tell, were they wearing red mantles~?"
Glancing at the floating moogle, he really was adorable. And at the mention of being able to dress him up in different outfits, that immediately sparked Emina's interest.
"Really~? Well then, you may not be so different to the Peristylium moogles then~. They all have their own little adorable outfits too~. I wonder how it would be if you were to meet them."
“Yes, I’ve me plenty of student from the Peristylium around here,” Serah shrugged with a small smile, “Yeah I love Mog! He even let’s me dress him up!”

Her eyes widened slightly at the mention of Lady Caetuna's name, as knowing the l'Cie herself it was rare for her to engage in conversation, much less with an outsider of the school.
"Ah yes, Lady Caetuna is a member of the school where I teach~," Emina explained carefully. "An enigmatic woman, that one is~."
Leaning in close to Yaag, she observed him with curiosity, trying to find any trace of emotion in his face or waiting to see how he would react to her being in his personal space. She smiled slightly at him, giggling to herself.
“A l’Cie by the name of Caetuna.” Yaag responded. “She wears a similar outfit, so I could only guess.”
He had a bad feeling about what the conversation would entail. Though her appearance beared a great similarity to Jihl,(which admittedly sparked some competitive urge in Yaag) but her personality starkly contrasted the other.

So her earlier suspicion had been correct; Serah knew of some of the students from the Peristylium, and Emina could harbour a guess as to which class they were from, though she didn't know just how many of them she knew.
"Oh~? You've met some students from there already~?" she asked, tilting her head. "And yes, he is slightly different to our moogles, though there is some similarity too~. As expected, moogles are adorable no matter where you are, ufufu~."
“Ah, so you know all those students from Orience…” she heard her words to the Mog, “I have heard that you people have different moogles where you’re from, I bet Mog is very different.”

"Yaag?" she repeated, hearing the unusual name on her tongue. "A pleasure~. And yes, an accurate observation indeed. How did you ever guess I was from Orience~?"
He was cold, his voice bearing a flat tone to it. Emina didn't like it. He was much too stoic for her taste, she needed to change that. She would have to be twice as cheerful during this conversation to make up for his lack of friendliness.
She was oddly……cheerful. He was unused to being around it. Perhaps Raines was the only one who was able to seem somewhat cheerful in all of Sanctum. “Yaag Rosch, and I’m sure it is the same of you.” he responded in the same tone. “Are you from Oriense?”

"Ufufu, you think so~?" she laughed, immediately taking a liking to the younger girl. "Why, thank you~. And to answer your question, I'm from a place called Rubrum, in Orience."
Emina wondered if the girl knew where that was, or possibly if she was familiar with some of the other students there. Perhaps not, but she would wait to see what she said.
"Serah~," she repeated. "Likewise, a lovely name~. And it's a pleasure to meet you too, Mog~. My, you do seem a little different to the moogles who I'm used to seeing, fufu~."
“Emina… that’s a nice name. Where are you from?” Serah began to pull her wet hair up into a tight braid that wound in a bun. “I’m Serah Farron and that-,” she pointed to Mog, “Is my moogle pal Mog.”

Unsure of what to do next he held firm his grip as he continued to look around the corner at her. “Oh um hello.” He repeated taking in his surroundings. “I suppose I was just lookin around and trying to get a bearing on where I am…?” He wasn’t planning on telling her he was lost but in his stupor he murmured it aloud.
Something about the colors in her uniform caught his eye. But it was too early for him to make a such a leap and suggest affiliation with the others he had met wearing uniforms. “Ex-excuse me… But who are you?” He asked focusing on her eyes.
A timid one, she chuckled to herself. It was rather adorable the way he stumbled over his words. But judging from his lack of uniform, she supposed he wasn't from the Peristylium, in which case his nervousness was to be expected.
"Fufu, you mean it isn't obvious~?" Emina smiled, gesturing to the balcony around them. "This is the terrace~. Beautiful view, isn't it~?"
Twirling a curl of hair around her finger, she focused her attention back on the young boy, smiling once more.
"I'm Emina, one of the instructors here at the Suzaku Peristylium~."

Oops. She hoped she hadn't disturbed the candidate in any way. And she supposed her question was valid, as it was rare for Emina to enter the library.
"No darling, I just thought I would see if Kazusa was in," she murmured, shaking her head. She tried to remain cheerful, but it was clear from looking at the candidate that something was tiring her, or possibly even troubling her.
"And you~? What are you doing here so late?"
Queen heard a quiet noise and looked up, tilting her head slightly upon seeing the older woman. “Sensei? Is there something I can help you with?”
