there’s something so intimate about theo and liam seeing the second wave of ghost riders and the split-second reaction coming from the both of them.

liam steels himself and prepares to fight alongside theo in order to protect and ensure the safety of his loved ones *cough* because that’s the only way he knows how.

while theo instantaneously runs back to open the elevator, not for himself though, theo shoves liam in the elevator and sacrifices himself without a second thought, proving to the whole audience that there’s definitely something deeper happening there.

and liam screaming “no!” to theo as the doors close and THROWING himself against them to get back to theo…like you can’t write better romance than that!

liam shows his love by fighting on behalf of someone else and theo shows his love by sacrificing himself for the other. both of which were scenarios they had self-serving-ly performed in the past, as liam would fight on account of his IED -representing his own emotions- and theo only sacrificed other people for the betterment of himself in exemplifying his being as a “success” in the eyes of the dread doctors.

this scene single-handedly showed how the pair are better for each other than they are separate, as they fight for purposes beyond themselves and on behalf of their loved ones as opposed to their prior actions (whether forced upon them or not, this scene shows a break in the cycle).

actions speak louder than words, and when push came to shove, both of them were willing to put themselves in the line of fire to directly ensure that the other is safe, and if that’s not GAY ASF…sorry jeff davis idk what is

So, I hate the whole "corrupting something truly good" thing and implicitly Theo being called a bad person simply because it makes no sense. Theo was 9 years old. 9 YEARS OLD. At that age a child doesn't even have an identity, how can you define if he was a good or a bad person? He was a child.

And the doctors' point probably makes sense but it is tied to the fact that Mason was rationally and consciously a good person and not to the fact that Theo wasn't.

Children can be mean, unaware or rude but they are not "bad" like adults can be.

I don't really know how to explain it but Theo never chooses to be bad over being good, Theo simply travels totally on another track which is linked to utility and survival. Theo knows how to classify right and wrong (it's obvious that he does) but it's just not the way his mind evaluates ethics.

In fact when he comes back from hell Theo doesn't suddenly discovers that everything he did was wrong (he knew it very well before), he simply shifts his interpretation of reality to everyone else's track.

I really hope you understand what I mean 🥺

Theo hitches his hips upward, making Liam gasp.

It's dark, in the woods. The night had come soon and, well, boring patrol days mean Liam wants some fun.

When he'd suggested the idea to Theo, he'd expected a 'no way, are you fucking crazy?' but what he'd gotten instead was a mouth crushed to his. The tree rough against his back when Theo slammed him against it, hands hurriedly moving underneath his shirt.

"Fuck," Liam whines. Theo's back is against the tree now. He's making Liam look out into the woods, unable to muffle himself like he wants to, because his hands are held tight behind his back and he can't hold the sounds in on his own.

Normally it isn't such a problem, because he'll just use Theo's mouth to moan into.

But, he can't do that now. It's all him.

Theo's probably getting off on that. On the idea Liam has to try his best to keep his mouth shut even when the pleasure is too great to do anything but pant, open-mouthed and drooling, small sounds escaping him. The hitch of a breath, the tail end of a whine.

Except every time Liam thinks he's got a grip on it, Theo changes things up. He'll slam his hips up faster, or harder, or he'll slow down, making Liam whine out of frustration.

At least Liam is able to catch his breath whenever Theo does slow down a bit. He lets his head drop against Theo's shoulder.

"I swear if we get caught," he mumbles, pausing to take a deep breath, "then I'm actually going to kill you."

He can't see Theo, but he knows he must be grinning when one of his hands grabs hold of Liam's hip and he grinds into him.

Liam gasps, he can't help himself.

He's vaguely aware there's someone else on patrol. Malia, maybe. They're paired with Malia a lot. But the pleasure is too great to really think of anything else. All he can think of is Theo's hand on his hip, his dick moving over his walls, inside, until it's pressing into the one spot that makes his dick twitch almost aggressively.

"Fuck," he gasps, when Theo doesn't let up. "Fuck, Theo, please, fuck, shit." He thrashes, hoping to free one of his hands so he can finish himself. Theo is strong, he doesn't let him escape. "Theo."

"You're whiny today," Theo groans, dragging his teeth up Liam's neck. "I told you to be quiet. Maybe you want to get caught. Would you like that? Them seeing what I'm doing to you?"

Liam hums, high in the back of his throat as Theo pulls out almost all the way, just to push back in again at such a slow pace it makes his mouth drop open. "Please," he mumbles, as quietly as he can.

Theo huffs. "Because you asked so nicely," he says, letting go of Liam's hip to wrap a hand around his leaking dick.

Whether it's fate, a red string or subconscious desires, some things are just too good to be an accident. They're meant to happen, and life will find a way, even if it's unconventional.
