It’s November, and around my house that means I’m getting into gear with all of my Holiday and Winter Cards! This time of year is always rough for me, but one thing that always makes me happy are Christmas and Winter cards. This is my 8th year doing this, which is hard to believe, but I’m crazy excited to be able to continue the tradition this year, especially because I have FINALLY achieved my goal.

All of the cards have already been made for you, I just need to write them out and send them filled with all of my love and good vibes, which brings me to the point of this post:

As stated above, I've already finished making the cards for this year! The photo in the graphic is of the same cards I’ve been working on all October, so consider it a sneak peek! haha

Through the month of November, I’ll gather addresses and hopefully write out the cards so they’re all ready to mail the beginning of December. Life happens, so it might not happen that way, but I’m going to try my best to make it happen! Even if my goal of mailing them in early December doesn't happen, you'll definitely get a card at some point if you claim one.

HERE’S WHAT I NEED FROM YOU.

I’ll be collecting addresses using this google form. It’s pretty straight forward, but on the form I will be asking for:

Your address (I will mail them internationally). PLEASE write it out exactly as you would on an envelope, line breaks and all! I’ve had some cards get returned to me in the past because I guessed where the line breaks should be, and I guessed incorrectly, so to avoid that I’d love it if you could tell me where the line breaks are

The name you want me to use for the address as well as the name you would like me to write inside the card. For many, the name will be the same, but for others, it will be different, so to account for that, I’ll have an option for both.

Your tumblr URL. This is just so I can reach out to you if there are any issues.

And that’s it! There aren’t any other stipulations or requirements. We don’t need to be mutuals, you don’t even need to be following me or in the fandom tbh. You just need to want a homemade card from me to hopefully bring you some holiday cheer!

As an animal lover with some rescues of my own, this fic really hit home for me. As stated in the author’s notes, the focus is very much on Harry’s relationship with his dog, with the Larry relationship in the background. It’s incredibly sweet and hopeful and shows how you can change an animal’s life under the right circumstances. A gorgeous fic!

This fic is perfect if you’re in the mood for something lighthearted and fluffy. It features a meet-cute in the laundry room after Louis tries to find a quiet place to study (away from his noisy roommates). From there, Liam and Louis form a quick connection full of the nervous excitement that goes along with starting a new relationship. It was a joy to read!

Summary: Louis can’t think of a worse place to be than at the Malik estate, attending his ex boyfriend’s wedding.

Review:

The author really knows how to create a whirlwind of emotions, ranging from suspense and hurt, right through to joy and contentedness. It was well executed through the character’s emotions, and I even sobbed at their heartfelt topic. Though, the angst is well-worth it for the ending that’s in store. The novel is short and as much as I’d have loved to read more due to falling in love with the character’s and the author’s style, the length was perfect for the scene and the events that took place. Creating a turn of events and a build up of sensations was absolutely breath-taking. I have recommended it to several others who expressed the same conclusion, that the author truly created a rollercoaster of sentiments, but that every single one was what made the ending that extra bit special.

So, if you want something that feels rewarding and fills your heart with appeasements and happy endings, this fictional piece is for you.

Do You Think The Tides Know

Zayn had known from the beginning that his summer fling with Louis was just that – a summer thing, and no more. He’d known that Louis’ heart was already taken, known that this was just a chance for Louis to learn more about himself and his sexuality. Louis had been upfront about it the whole time.

Unfortunately, Zayn dramatically underestimated how easy it would be to fall in love with Louis.

Louis looks over at Zayn, his eyes deep and earnest and full of emotion and it takes Zayn’s breath away.

“Before you go,” Louis says softly. “I need you to know – you’re my best friend. You’re the person I trust most in the world, the person I know always has my back, the person I’m always looking for a reason to spend time with. You’re kind and you’re smart and you’re funny and you’re brave and – god, there’s so much I admire about you.”

Zayn can feel his heart pounding a mile a minute, but he tries to keep his expression neutral. It’s not for him, he reminds himself over and over. Even as every word sinks into his skin like a kiss, like a promise, like a bruise. It’s not for him. 

Maybe he’s the idiot here. 

“I know we’ve been dancing around each other for a while,” Louis continues. “And I’m sorry for that. I was… scared. And confused. But I think I’m ready now.” He swallows hard. “I want to be with you, Ha-”

Zayn kisses him, and the final words die on Louis’ lips as he laughs against Zayn’s mouth. 

“Fucking hell,” Zayn says between hungry kisses. “You’re dangerous, Tomlinson.”

Louis grins. “So you think that’ll work? You think he’ll say yes?”

Zayn pulls back for just a moment, weighing his words carefully. “I don’t know if anyone could resist falling in love with you if you said that to them.”

Or, a fic based on the folklore love triangle, but it’s nobody’s fault and no one means to hurt anyone.

This fic was written for the @1dcountryfest and I am so incredibly grateful to the mods for once again giving me the push to write a story that I’ve been absolutely dying to tell for ages. I also owe @alwaysxlarrie about 5378 thank yous for all their support and encouragement and excitement, for making me believe I was capable of telling this story and that it would find an audience.
