drawing output for the last 5 months: lot of this hoe

Spent several months chugging through this as a Christmas present for a relative and managed to finish literally the night before...

Anyway it's on a king sized bed if that gives a reference for the scale of it. Made of over 350 crocheted granny squares

I might have more time to get back to drawing now, or I might make more of these. Not sure yet

Pair of paintings for my parents’ 60th(!!) birthdays. Upper, lily pads - gouache on panel. Lower, roses - oil on panel. Both 8″x8″.

Gouaches definitely enable my fussiness to smooth the colors a lot. Oils, I’m more likely to just brush on and let them be. :p
