mgs4 is far from my favorite metal gear game but i do really appreciate how it canonizes that solid snake has been in some kind of domestic living situation with another man (for NINE YEARS) who he’s raising a kid with. and this is just. never acknowledged in any way by the story or the characters. and the other man in question is the dude from mgs1 who pisses his pants while crying and then introduces himself as “otaku convention”
