I just remembered the Primos Pitch Bible and made me think about how much of the show wa changed before it began production

Genuine question, What do you think of the characterization of Tater, Nellie, and The Primos both as characters and designs?

PRIMOS: Summer of Las Muralistas (2025) Here it is! This was the final episode of Primos that I storyboarded on the show. It is a very sweet episode about Tater entering a mural contest, and her mom, Bibi, dealing with the fact that Tater is growing up and becoming more independent. Once again I handled the first half of the episode with all of the flashbacks to Tater and Bibi making art together over the years, and then Ainsley Dye handled the back half of the episode including an amazing mother/ daughter scene, and a hilarious Bibi breakdown! It was such an honor working on this show and I'm so proud of what we were all able to create together! Again, Shout out to Natasha, David, Ainsley, and every other person who worked on this amazing show! It was very bittersweet drawing all of the Primos in one big group shot one last time. Also! I snuck in a reference to my little brother with Tater coloring with her tongue out. He used to do that anytime he was drawing or coloring <3 That's all for now! I remember finding an animation test for The Primos pilot mainly for the "Si Se Puede" scene and I'm amazed at how fluent it is

Also I like seeing them look identical to the actual show besides a few details like how Tonita & Lucita look and having different colored skin tones and clothes
