After he made her a magical girl for fun, the two get into all kinds of funny situations and shenanigan's, because Emiko is a terrible magical girl. Especially compared to her rival, Sakiko, however her Guardian is a newbie at this business and receives coaching from Hisao.

Magical Girls: Girls chosen by Guardians to protect their respective area from Monsters.

Guardians: An ancient fantasy-animal race, who has protected humanity since the beginning of time. They can shapeshift into humans, however revert back to their animal form when weakened, extremely flustered or their medallion gets stolen.

She's from Sootopolis City, her starter was a shiny Mudkip and the Skitty belongs to her mom. When she went on her journey to become a coordinator, her mom gave her the Luna Wing as a good luck charm and told her to take Skitty with her. However she lost her first contest and then got her Mudkip stolen by Team Rocket (which immediately got sold off to another Trainer). She had to work for them for 3 years in Kanto and Johto, before she managed to flee to Alola. Since then she's looking for her Pokémon. Skitty ended up in Unova, as a homeless Delcatty and her Mudkip evolved into Swampert under a powerful trainer wandering Sinnoh.
