MC was told, explicitly, something about what is going on. And they wholesale dismissed that data because it doesn't fit at all within their concept of the people/systems/dynamics involved. That person is wrong. They are mentally unwell. They're stupid. They're lying. I know better. I was taught better. I know who to trust. I am more rational.

And you let that unreliable-ass narrator convince your audience to dismiss the information you handed them right out in the open.

I took my little brother (autistic, mostly non verbal) out and he was using his voice keyboard to tell me something, and this little boy (maybe 4 or 5?) heard him and asked me "Is he a robot??" ...Well old Archduke Spearsong wouldn't have lived nearly as long for one. With that level of fuckass ice magic, idk if team MG could've beaten Vermir, but I think they could've at least held the castle for a while longer, though with the Archduke dead, I can see Avymer defecting to Vermir's side in order to get revenge. I guess this is how to get Evil Avymere and a siege instead of an ass beating 💀
