i really do believe that the answer to a lot of people's self hatred is not to try and reassure them that they are wonderful and okay and enough, but instead to remind them theyre a completely unremarkable regular ass person who is not the center of the universe or especially important so why would they expect themselves to be some superhuman savior. like there really is a kernel of out of control self importance at the heart of thinking youre an evil lazy piece of shit. because why would you expect you be anything but just like some guy. if you wouldnt expect the guy who works at the vape shop or your mailman or whatever to be able to do something then why would you expect yourself to? youre just some random ass person. its fine

Everyday is dedicated to Diego in my mind I'm ngl, but today is Prompt Day: OTP

Clearly, my love for Diego and HP runs very very deeply and if you know and interact with me especially on IG it's most likely you know the hundreds of thousands of words I've written over the months for them. For me they're a ship that goes behind just a pairing I enjoy, it's potential and something that feels too human , with two opposite sides of the same coin witnessing and growing together. Two people haunted by their past, wanting to prove themselves , one by sacrificing and the other by retaliating. Something in that infinite potential of seeing one another where they stand, no judgement, but learning and shedding away those defensive mechanisms to overcome and realise that they have always been enough. Legitimately I could spend the next 7 hours writing down everything from their encounter, to their past, to the way I view their dynamic and growth , but I'm drowning in all of it, and I really hope that some day the people that love them they way I do find their way here so WE CAN GO INSANE together or something lol

I love everything about this (the vulnerability, the nakedness, the hurt and pain, Danny in the background, the birthmark (that we never saw if I remember correctly), the artstyle, and so on). And I love both drawings. It's just so good.

When I read Steel Ball Run and Danny came up I was so... happy? In a way because I love mice (and rats) and two of my favorite books also have mice in them... one is Flowers for Algernon and the other is The Green Mile. I don't know, but including a mouse in a story is just the cherry on top, I swear.
