As we approach the midpoint of 2025, I'm writing to you today with an important announcement regarding the future of MLRecords and the incredible music we've had the privilege of sharing with you over the years.

For a long time, MLRecords has been a home for diverse musical talent, and we are immensely proud of the journey we've shared. Now, we are embarking on an exciting new chapter: transitioning our extensive music catalog to our artists' record labels. This move empowers our artists with greater control and independence, fostering a more direct connection between them and you, their dedicated listeners.

This transition is already underway for many of our artists, who are diligently working on their new homes. For others, the process of creating their own record label accounts is just beginning. And for some, the crucial step of planning where all their fantastic music will reside is still in progress. We understand that change can bring questions, and we are committed to making this a smooth process for everyone involved.

While it's only halfway through 2025, we are already deep into this transition as MLRecords prepares to conclude its course in due time. Our goal is to ensure that the music you love finds its rightful place in these new, artist-driven ecosystems.

You will soon see a comprehensive list of these new record labels to follow. We strongly encourage you to explore them and continue your incredible support for the artists you cherish. For now, rest assured that all our music remains available right here on MLRecords until it officially transitions to its new label.

As you know, music is a huge part of our lives here in the Watterson household—whether it's Gumball bustin' out some hilarious rhymes, Darwin serenading with his smooth vocals, or Anais dropping the latest beats, we’re all about creating sounds that make you smile, dance, and sing along!

Well, we’re taking it up a notch and launching our very own record label—WattersonMusic! 🎶 It’s where all the magic happens! With everything from Gumball’s goofy anthems to Darwin’s heartfelt ballads and Anais’ catchy tunes, we’re bringing you all our music under one roof, and we can’t wait for you to hear it!

Now, you might be wondering why we decided to start this label. Well, our friends at MLRecords will be winding down at the end of this year, and we thought, “What better time to embark on our own musical journey?” We’ve got so many creative ideas bubbling up, and we’re ready to show the world what we’re capable of!

Moving forward, we promise that the music we make at WattersonMusic will be better than ever. We’re working hard to fine-tune our songs, experiment with new sounds, and really add our distinct Watterson flair. You can expect more laughter, more fun, and a whole lot of heart in everything we release.

We can’t thank you enough for your support—the love you give us fuels our creativity! So, stay tuned, and keep your ears open because we’ll be rolling out some awesome new tracks before you know it. Trust us, you won’t want to miss out! 🎉

Congratulations to Chance for winning the All-Star edition of Battle of MLRecords.

From one of his posts, he wanted to release his album called "Now Tell Me, How Are You," and our album, "the death of us" (that is the last album we will put out under MLRecords.)

And this one.

We do love this album a lot. This is our self-titled album. We are re-defining ourselves to who we are. We showcase everything we have to offer for you.

This album helps us to find the way to reintroduce ourselves, even though there are four of us and the name has the word three in it.

Three represents the three wise monkeys. Even though each monkey has something it can't do, they can work together regardless of what they can't do.

So, here we are, almost six years later, we redefine this band with sixteen new songs in our self-titled record.

We Be Three is out now in the world. Thank you.
