The only reason Jon isn't that pathetic is because he cant cry. Like physically not very good at it. Not built for it. Tear ducts almost non-existent. And that he'd rather combust or fly to the sun than cry.

Conceptually, Aaron is aromantic. He genuinely can't process that emotion for anyone other than his wife. It's neat.
