Seasons Changing/Horror/Candy!

„Was that assault.. just a dream..?“

This short and half-assed comic of some sort came rushing into me that I find it really fitting for the rare pair week theme: h o r r o r.

This story is set in some sort of AU where all of the MM Characters are living under the same roof that only distinguishes each of their rooms is the replica of their own inhabitants! Assuming that the room for the “Deep Route” is one but only has a glass sliding door as a boundary shall be a proper excuse now as to say that Jumin is kinda indeed allowed to say that (last panel). Moving on to the much more further point of it being called horror, I just merely classified it as the word’s meaning as an adjective: fear and/or disgust.

I’ll be happy to give this a much more proper story strip if possible if this said strip is clearly not enough ^^;

Autumn/Halloween Monsters!

“I may be partially blind but I want to capture every single picture worth it moments as much as I can..”

Honestly, I do think pairs like these are nice to have considering that it has the pinch of ‘Love-Hate’ blends like the ZUmin(?) Pair? Plus, imagine this as a scenario whereas Yoosung had no choice but to do Community Services for being late and having low grades on a certain strict professor’s classes. V happened to roam nearby and got to say.. he didn’t regret borrowing a camera from the Photography Club at Yoosung’s college to snatch up the moment to capture this!

( outcome? Yoosung was nagged by said club to invite V over for tutorials on getting a great picture perfect moment like what he did. Yoosung still kinda hates V nonetheless but he liked the way V captured him and his heart! )

”What’s up with you, Jumin-ah? This is so not like you to join me hunt fresh pumpkins in hays at a Harvest Festival!” Luciel would chuckle amusedly as he try to tap away a few straws of hay off of Jumin’s head.

Assuming that our residential Memelord decided to drag the whole RFA into a Harvest Festival that is hosted by no other than both him and 606(MC)! A fun day to spend your time with both Nature and its gifts, right? and maybe a touch of warm and cool autumn breeze to your juciel tea could do this festival a trick, yeah?

Trick or Treating are depicted as kids doing it and we all have seen what these two looked like as children! ^^ Being in time with YooRan, Zen x Seven is like my Reset Tandem! Heartwarming yet such a Heartbreaker!

He knows, but it had been way too easy to snag Rika’s access card and hitch a ride down the elevator where all the confidential specimens are kept. He kind of feels like a super spy for pulling it off, but it’s probably more like Rika was tired and she never keeps a close eye on him anyway, like she does with all the other interns at the marine research institute. Usually he whines about the favoritism, but today…

Today he has to know where the singing is coming from.

I didn’t much thought off about this pair but when I think about it, these two would most likely be gay-paired-yuri with MC(Character/Player). When drawing this, I was somehow reminiscing that one korean song that tells a tale about a female student falling in love with her English teacher! I really like the song and how bittersweet the story is about so I ended up pouring it over this art ^^;

This may not be your type of blend but it’s really just the idea that counts! ^^ ((AU Detail: Jaehee is a high school student here with Rika as her Science teacher! Wonder if they can actually make a perfect “chemistry” together?))

Music of the Night

i lay there perplexed at this prompt until cheritz swooped down with the perfection of the halloween cg last night. @cutiesaeran and i ended up having the same brainwave, god bless…

Zen finds himself completely unable to make words the moment he opens the door. Which must be the reaction Saeran was hoping for because he can see half of Saeran’s wickedly satisfied smile peeking out from under that mask he’s wearing. That iconic white mask that Zen’s seen a million times from a million repeat viewings. That mask that he could recognize on sight from miles away.

“You dressed up as the Phantom?!”

Saeran doesn’t answer, just puts a hand on Zen’s chest and lightly pushes him back through the doorway, stepping in after him. The door closes, and then…

“Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation~♪ Darkness wakes and stirs imagination~♪”

Oh my god. Is…Is Saeran singing to him? Seriously?? Zen pinches himself. This feels more like his birthday than Halloween.

“Silently the senses abandon their defenses~♪ Helpless to resist the notes I write~♪”

Saeran pushes Zen further until his back presses up against the wall. Zen laughs, a little breathless. “I could never have defenses around you, babe,” he teases.

Saeran leans in close and Zen can feel warm lips move against his jaw contrasted with the hard plastic of the mask, the last softly sung line of the verse getting lost under Zen’s thundering heartbeat. When Saeran pulls away, Zen tugs him back in so he can kiss the corner of his mouth and taste that smirk for himself.

“Down boy,” Saeran scolds, a glint in his eyes as he covers Zen’s mouth, blocking a second kiss. “We’re not done here yet.”

Zen whines.

“Come on, pretty boy. Don’t you want to play dress up with me?”

“Oh? Are you finally gonna tell me who I am?” Zen grins, perking right back up and leaving a peck on Saeran’s palm. “I hope you’ve got everything for the costume with you ‘cause all I got are some props from old shows.”

“Mmm, nope. Not telling you who you are. You’re going to have to guess.”

“Guess?!”

“Don’t worry, it won’t be hard. I mean, you’re the one that’s so into couple’s costumes, right?”

“Couples costumes…? What do you mean c—” It clicks. “WHAT?! Wait, wait, wait, I’m Christine?! Why am I Christine?!”

Saeran snickers. “I’m cashing in on last year’s promise. I was the girl last time. Now it’s your turn.”

Oh yeah. He did say something like that, didn’t he.

“Well if that’s what you want, then…” Zen makes a show of swooning against the wall. “…I’ll do anything for my angel of music~”

Saeran had brought Saeyoung along to help with Zen’s costume change and Saeyoung sweeps through the door with everything: costume, wig, contacts, even makeup. By the time he’s done with him, not even one of Zen’s most devoted fans would recognize him, and that’s good. That’s perfect. If no one can recognize Zen than they can do whatever they want.

Saeran’s pulling him out the door by the hand the moment Zen steps out in his gown and Zen laughs, hurrying behind in quick feminine steps, the remnants of his training from playing all of those women’s roles when he was young. “You know, I always thought I was the Phantom.”

Saeran slows and turns, bringing the back of Zen’s hand up to his lips. “Problem?”

Zen’s heart slams against his ribs. God, Saeran’s really getting into it. “I’m not complaining.” Zen says, eyes sparkling. “Kinda funny for Christine to be taller than the Phantom though.”

Next thing Zen knows Saeran’s hand is curling around the back of his neck. “Guess I’ll just have to bring you down to my level then.”

They end up kissing for long enough to mess up Zen’s makeup.

They’re definitely late to the party.

Angel of Music~

I wasn’t certain I’d manage to write anything this year for rare pair week but considering the new art Cheritz blessed us with last night and today’s prompt, I had to. Had to. So I bring you this Saeran x Zen ficlet, based on the prompt Costume.

Saeran doesn’t like things that cover his eyes.

Technically, he doesn’t like to wear anything on his face. Unfortunately, that isn’t something he can avoid since his immune system still isn’t the greatest and the dust masks are often the only thing standing between what is a simple cold for others but morphs into a serious illness for him. Dislike it as he may (and he does, every bit of it, from the pull on his ears to the scratch across his skin to the way every inch of him under it is constantly overheating) it is a necessary evil, one to bear because it’s better than being bedridden again.

But this. This isn’t like that.

Frowning, he pokes the white half-mask, unsure if he’s pleased that it’s secured so well. Not one to half-ass things, he’d found and purchased the type of glue actors use to keep such props in place on stage. It’s sticky and unnatural, but it gets the job done. Which, he supposes, is really all that matters. Not like this is becoming a permanent part of his wardrobe, so he can suffer through one night of hell on his face.

A knock on his door jolts him out of his mind. “Babe?” A voice calls, somehow both amused and concerned. “Are you okay? You’ve been in there most of the day, and the party starts soon.”

This is the moment he’s been looking forward to ever since he hatched this plan months ago. It took time to acquire everything and to make what he couldn’t find, but it all came together quite nicely. A very specific suit with tails (ridiculous, in his opinion, but he’s not doing this for himself), a mask meant to hide disfigurement, and a single red rose… One final glance in the mirror says he’s as ready as he’ll ever be and he nods to himself, taking a deep breath in.

Striding to the door, he flips the lock and steps back out of the way. “Why don’t you come in and find out, pretty boy~?”

Light glints off the knob as it turns, Zen’s head peeking through immediately. Shock registers immediately on his face, eyes widening and one hand coming up to his mouth. “Babe, you…”

Saeran grins and holds out the rose, doing his best to copy the confidence the Monster of the Opera portrays - which is a damn good job, if he says so himself. Finally a character he can relate to on some level. “Are you ready to join me in my lair, birdie? I can show you how to reach all kinds of notes you couldn’t before.”

Eyebrows flying up, Zen chuckles, finally composing himself. He reaches out to snatch the rose but Saeran moves too fast, keeping it just out of his reach. “Oh~? Has the angel of music come to steal me away into the night?”

It’s only a few steps to close the distance between them, Saeran grasping Zen’s chin between thumb and fingers with a smirk. “I will definitely be stealing you away tonight. But first…” Standing as straight as he can, he close enough for his breath to ghost over Zen’s lips. “…I think we have a party to go to, yeah?”

Zen’s groan is music to his ears when he slips around him and into the hallway, laughing gleefully. “Now now, pretty boy. Behave and do as your master says and you’ll get everything you want.”

Tonight is going to be fun, and totally worth the discomfort of a mask.

Hello, everyone! On the day of posting this, there are just 26 days left until Rare Pair Week begins! We’re very excited to see what kind of lovely content everyone cooks up for their favorite uncommon ships!

As a reminder, Rare Pair Week will be run through October 25 - 31, and will be dedicated to all of the less popular or just plain harder to find ships! This isn’t limited to just romantic ships—platonic pairs are welcome as well! We provide two different prompts that you’re free to take as inspiration (or you can make your own!), and we reblog/retweet whatever you create as long as it follows our guidelines and lands in our recommended pairings list.
