Personal Entry:

It’s been a while since I confided in the words of God but today I was drawn to it for an answer my heart could not grasp. Why the ‘supporters’ of my abuser were so adamant about me telling the “truth” when I had and have nothing to lie about. For all I know he has kept them in the dark guiding them with little white lies. It stresses me anyhow that the pandemic continues to drag this out in court on top of this. I was quite literally looking for the “truth” because I couldnt even understand why things happened and continue to as it is.

Of all scriptures on the context page under ‘truth’, John 8:32 beckoned me and it was the only answer I needed.

The Truth Will Make You Free

I came to the realization that, like the descendants of Abraham that do the deeds of their father, the family of my abuser would blindly follow him. I have faith in God cause he knows the truth, thus I must have faith in myself not to faulter to the intimidation of others. For I know the truth and the truth will set me free from this vicious cycle.

The embodiment of truth is like a flame, and when you play with fire you get burned. I have learned to bask in its light.

“City Blues”

Sunsets in the city kinda hit different when you grew up on the countryside. Feeling like I’m missing out on life... but maybe I’m just missing the pretty city lights.

I cherish these bracelets more than diamonds and gold, my mothers seashells my heart beholds ❤️

My best friend from high school blessed me by fixing a bracelet my late mom had made and I broke. She’s so talented and kind. I sent her a bunch of seashells my mom and I collected over the years as a thank you. I hope her business lives long and prospers... or enough to get her to college at least.

Taking a stroll down memory lane is always bittersweet. I miss the life I lived before but marvel at the person I am now and the people who have found their way into my life. I have to keep reminding myself I’m on to better and brighter days.

These cotton candy skies are the sweetest treat in life, brings the brightest smile to my face.

Sometimes, it all feels like a dream but these beautiful skies are my reality. There will be bright mornings and darker nights, all in God’s accord. I am thankful to watch with my own eyes from Earth of the beautiful masterpiece He paints before me. I wonder what the view is like from Heaven? Must be amazing.
