my little byler s5 predictions part 1/?

Maybe Mike and El argue finally talking about his monologue to her that felt ingenuine. At first it’s angry, but maybe in a later scene they have a more wholesome conversation and break up but cry and hug and El says “you’re never going to lose me. Even if we break up.”

“You mean it?” Says Mike

“Friends don’t lie.” Says Eleven.

But before this: maybe Mike is angry about his fight with El and blames in on Will. 

“You said, El needed me. You said She was scared of losing me. But you lied. Why did you lie?”

Will “I wasn’t lying”

Mike “You were! You were, and now it turns out she didn’t feel like you said she did and she’s dumping my ass, and I can’t lose her! You’ve messed up everything”

Will is shaking his head “I was just trying to help.”

Mike “Yeah, well you didn’t. You didn’t”

Will “Well I’m sorry, I thought you two were in love. How was I supposed to know El didn’t feel the way I d—Imagined she would?”

“And the painting you gave me, you know the one commisioned by El? She didn’t even know what it was. Did you lie about that too?”

Will looks away, after a long pause he says “yeah.”

Mike “Was it from you?”

Will takes a breath for bravery and eventually replies

“…yeah.” not making eye contact

I imagine this is pretty early in the season. 

Maybe later Mike talking to someone else like Lucas or Dustin in the whole group’s presence like “I just don’t understand why he would Lie about it, it doesn’t make sense”

Robin overhears this 

“Maybeee he was just scared. I mean it sounds like you two hadn’t seen each other in like forever, and he clearly missed you a lot and didn’t know if you felt the same so he tried to hide it in case you didn’t? I mean would that be so far or a stretch?”

“Yeah but if he did then why couldn’t he just tell me?”

“Sometimes…it’s hard to open up like that”

Mike remembers will saying that on the roof of the car.

He remembers the monologue about “El”’s feelings.

On a quiet night, Mike admits to Will he’s been feeling things that aren’t normal. And he tried to push them away, again and again but it’s not stopping. Like no matter how much he loves Eleven, there’s something that just feels wrong with me. I mean, I don’t feel different when I’m around you though, but when I’m with Nancy or Lucas or Dustin or my parents or like anyone else, I don’t know, it just feels like, they wouldn’t understand. I don’t know sometimes I feel like I’m going crazy.”

Will says “me too”

“Me too” you feel like you’re going crazy or “me too” you feel like you’re different

“...Both”

“Hey well, if we’re both going crazy, we’ll go crazy together right?” Mike says, half laughing at what he’s saying.

“Yeah…crazy together,” Will says with uncertainty in his voice.

Will is confused, he’s trying to read what mike is saying, he doesn’t want top assume what he hopes Mike means, They stare at each other for a little longer than normal, and they say Well, uhh, goodnight then. 

“Yeah, …see ya.”

OOOOhh the tension

After Mike walks out Will stuffs his head into a pillow, this is too much

Mike Winces behind the closed door 

A bit of a jancy parallel

Do they meet back after that or do they come back to it later in the upside down?

Maybe they don’t address it again until flickergate (iykyk) even if they want to.

Guys when was the moment in the show you first sensed Byler

For me it was way back in 2017 when they said Crazy Together I went okayy this could actually happen in a couple seasons and then the season 3 rain fight kind of confirmed it but it still just felt like a theory. And then in S4 when El said “Will is painting a lot I think there is someone he likes” I went BAM I WAS RIGHT

Anyway tell me the moments that made you start suspecting byler. What scene made it Cross your Mind?

I also really wanna know at what point the Duffers told the actors about byler like when exactly did they tell Noah Schnapp to start acting in love with Mike? 

Like at what point in filming did Noah Schnapp and Finn Wolfhard find out about it?

Why we miss hyyh so much

The 2015-2016 (Most beautiful moment in life up until you never walk alone) music videos contain so much backstory and lore to theorise about

The narrative and conceptual styles felt so meaningful like a fictional movie and artistic expression.

I do think that after the bbmas in 2017 BTS shifted their concepts and subject matter to be more about their audience and relationship to their fans. It became more about being an army than appreciating the art (no matter how much I still love them)

I can tell they each still have this capacity for depth of expression and creativity with the ability to be authentic and make really good art. I just hope they can have the space away from the industry, the ideas that come with being a boyband, and the fans that can be really difficult to ignre

In their 9th anniversary dinner video, the boys talked about how they had run out of creative inspiration due to being so busy and overworked. This was mosty what namjoon and yoongi said because they have historically been behind a large proportion of the songwriting and conceptual drive for the band.

I feel like if BTS get a proper real break, they can live their lives and read more books and see more art and find more inspiration personally. They just seem so burned out right now and it makes me sad because I love them so much. Being treated like a product for quick consumption must be really hard to deal with when you're a whole human with so much depth and talent and and thoughtfulness.

Without rambling about my full analysis of the hyyh storyline and how special it is

The style of that era is deliberately nostalgic and wistful, with themes like the idea of youth, passing time, being forever changed by events in our lives.

They created a nostalgia for the present at the time. And now that it is in the path, and feels further away the nostalgia has become true, and now we really ae yearning for the most beautiful moment in life not to be gone

Although I like how they assured us that the most beautiful moment is yet to come. Their proof album gave me a lot of hope (jhope) that in the future they will return to whatever magic was happening during hyyh and wings.

There have been exceptions since like black swan and fake love, but despite how proud I am of them, there's still this twinge of tragedy to their irreversible fame.

Because they didn't have to break through into superstardom to be loved and fulfilled.

It feels like JHope tackles this feeling I his new album Jack in the Box. Where he talks about his explosion into fame like pandora opening a box. You get so curious and then let out so much bad that cannot be put back in the box. It cannot be undone. But she also released the butterfly of hope, that reassures me that they are not giving up on being authentic.

Sidenote: I'm a musician too and I've heard people in the music industry talk about how even though a catchy basic song might reach more people (take dynamite or butter) it's the genuinely good, high quality and well-made music and art that reaches people's hearts and creates loyal fans.
