Since the new eyelash update is here, I'm gonna teach you how to convert old eyelash cc into the new eyelash option!

First of all, we will need the Sims 4 Studio. The download link can be found here: https://sims4studio.com/board/6/download-sims-studio-open-version

Now, head into the app and click the "My Projects" button on the main menu.

Open the eyelash file (.package file) you want to convert. I'll just pick a random one for reference. Once you picked the one you want, hit open.

You will be directed into the studio, which will look like this:

Now on the right side of the screen, find the CATEGORIES button and click on it.

Once there, change the OUTFIT TYPE to MASK DETAIL and APPLY TO ALL SWATCHES. Save the file, and the .package file will be updated in your game. Also, make sure to double check in-game before continuing with your other custom content.

As you can see in my game, It worked! Hopefully it works for all of you, too.

And by the way, If you're going to distribute these publicly without the original creators consent, just don't do it. This is meant for private use only or for content creators who want to convert their eyelashes into the new eyelash section.

NewJeans Billboard Overrides

Here’s something that's been sitting in my work folder for a while. Its some NewJeans Billboard Overrides. This will change all of the billboards around San Myshuno and Del Sol Valley with ones of NewJeans cause why not ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here's some that can be found in game:

They also override the signs in build mode too so you can place them on any lot you want.

Tested in game butttttttttt If there is anything wrong please let me know

i can’t urge anyone contemplating getting into making cc to do it enough. you don’t have to make cc with the end goal to share and post it but instead for your personal enjoyment. in the age of people putting 2 pixels behind early access or a single swatch hair conversion paywalled please believe me when i say making cc is damn easy to pick up. yes there are different levels of complexity but there’s so many tutorials out there as well as this entire community full of people willing to help. @thefoxburyinstitute is an amazing blog full of brilliant tutorials for all levels of cc making (as well as a fun assessment quiz to work out which section to start in)

VERY ALARMING

I want to make it clear that I've come across a disturbing thread indicating that some prominent CC creators are embedding trackers in their download links to monitor who redistributes their paid content. As someone who purchases content and has never redistributed it, I'm aware that some users do share links due to long-standing paywalls, despite EA's directive for a limited early access period followed by free public release. The alarming aspect is the potential for these trackers to access all information on a device, which is illegal in the UK. As a solicitor, I'm knowledgeable about this. Should I discover any creator has sent me links containing spyware, I will report them to EA to ensure they are barred from creating for The Sims 4. While I empathize with creators over unauthorized sharing of their work, I must protect the sensitive client information on my devices. Our IT department has been alerted, and should they find any trace of such activity linked to a creator, I will take legal action. Currently, I am aware of several creators involved in this illicit practice, but I will withhold their identities unless it becomes necessary to inform the sims 4 community. Consider this a warning; ignorance will not be an acceptable defence.
