The movie "I am what I am" has been released, which is also the beginning of my new ship, Annie (my ocs) and the character A juan, a 16 year old boy from the countryside of Southern Guangdong.....

Annie was only 15 at the time and A Juan and Annie hadn't met yet so this is just a test drawing of mine, I wanted to bring my feelings to my new ship....

What's special here is the difference between their two languages and cultures, since A Juan is Chinese and Annie is Russian-American, of course they will have some difficulties communicating....

I went to the last fan screening event of I Am What I Am 2 (雄狮少年2) in Guangzhou yesterday! It was the last day for us to see it on the big screen, so it really felt like saying goodbye to the film for now. A Gyun cosplayer brought her own lion head (a replica of Gyun's lion head in the sequel) to the cinema and even performed for us! The lion head looked so beautiful…😭 The red banner at the bottom of the screen said: 'Gyun, if you can't see the end of the mountain, we will walk with you!' Watching this film with a full house of fans was such an unforgettable experience...

A weak boy in the countryside of China, tries to prove himself by competing in a lion dancing contest with the help of his friends, and a professional lion dancer as his teacher.

Additional points: +1 great animation - realistic and almost life-like +1 raw emotions - able to empathise with the characters +1 action - movement was fluid

THE FABLED DAY HAS ARRIVED!! This is my favorite animated film from the last few years!!! I’ve been waiting for this to be released internationally!!! 😭✨ A sequel was announced. Apparently there’s a stage musical in China too?? Highly recommend this film!!
