Today is my cat Floyd’s second birthday and he likes to lie next to and sit with my lizard Taco, who we affectionately call his big brother.

Don’t worry, I’m always there to watch them to make sure they’re okay and they haven’t shown any hunter/prey dynamics at any point during the time we’ve had them.

I let Floyd into Taco’s room and sit down next to Taco’s tank. Taco’s sorta sitting behind his little house but we can still see each other so I ask him if he wanted to wish his baby brother a happy birthday. Taco comes out from behind his house and sits down to stare at Floyd. Floyd walks over and sits down at the tank and puts his nose against the glass where Taco was. Taco lifts his snout and licks the glass where Floyd’s nose was. I’m gonna fucking cry. I love my boys so much.
