Sorry but this design is literally just Bad. I don't care that it's fat, it's just that's it's literally unrealistic as living creature. Fat simply doesn't distribute that way in real life, it looks bloated to an unhealthy degree like it's stomach is going to burst. And what is up with its skinny legs? You expect me to believe those things can actually support something that looks that heavy? Much less move "elegantly"? This is one of the least graceful looking creatures I've ever seen. Give it sturdier looking legs, and change the belly shape so that it's less big and round, and more soft and healthy looking. [Satire]

the current situation with the Everlux breed drop makes me sad. so much vitriol over what's ultimately just pixels on a screen

one user put it really well when he said "If I was the artist behind the Everlux and I read some of the stuff people were saying about them, I'd be in tears, and I think a lot of other users feel that way too." please please remember to be kind to artists and creatives in situations like this - people asking the devs to do things like change the lineart just baffles me. we must have respect for the amount of work that goes into the process

a lot of people went mask-off about their discomfort with fat critters, and it disappointed me... their visual designs aren't perfect but cmon

if you're not perfectly happy with the design, you can always make headcanoned versions of them, just like drawing tundras with toe beans and more canine faces. i've heard people talk about the idea of prolegs on Everlux and it sounds adorable!

Using this as an opportunity to mention that Pit's backstory is that his entire kind was wiped out except for him, and the reason was literally that "every angel in the sky turned to stone." The only reason he didn't die is because he can't do a major thing angels are known for doing (flying) - that always struck me as such a compelling and sad story

Hhhhhh been thinking about Kid Icarus again and it’s wild to me that there don’t seem to really be any serious horror projects based around Uprising - or around the series as a whole. When I went looking, I only found like two different creepypastas from like a decade ago that weren’t very high quality ngl.

This is wild to me bc Kid Icarus: Uprising has some dark as hell implications with some of the shit that happens. Do y’all remember the chaos kin arc? Because I literally cannot stop remembering the chaos kin arc. The aurum are also pretty fucking terrifying when you think about them for too long.

ALSO I just gotta say that I LOVE the concept of God Games taking place in a coliseum with a bunch of gods and different creatures watching. Massive kudos to whoever had this idea, whether it was Jay or any of the artists that animated this song.
