i have a ton of wips to crack through, think i might try to rotate through fandoms and ratings though i fear i feel another new wip squirming it's way into existence

bites that when I have nothing to do at work I have to pretend to be busy and can't just open up a notepad to write
like at least when I'm actually busy no one will question my extensive post-it note collection that mysteriously disappear at the end of the day
#moved onto a different team at work and the training is taking forever#not anyones fault but this has been the slowest week of the year for me and its only wednesday#tbf people HAVE noticed my postit notes ive just lied about their purpose (i encrypt them kind of by writing the first letter of each word)#and it is weird but id rather get caught doing that than have been caught with my full pages of fanfic planning from back in december lol#still havent really cracked into some of those but hey ho#mogin rambles

finally home after staying over at my partner's for a month. i need to train myself to be more disciplined when it comes to writing when i'm not at home... and while i'm at home to as it happens

Hospital appointment went okay yesterday though the doctor has basically said they're not sure that the pain is still being caused by the injuries I sustained last year.
I need to go back in again next week for a blood test in case its an inflammatory disease instead now but I've also been given a new pair of hand braces that are quite comfortable. I'll probably keep wearing my old ones while I sleep but wear these new ones during the day when I'm at home

welp, just wasted a day of annual leave. hospital cancelled my appointment an hour before it was scheduled to go ahead 🙃

hm got my msk clinic appointment tomorrow morning. it'll be nice to have my first proper day off work since starting my new job even if it is to go to the hospital and discuss further treatments for my hands. fingers crossed this time next year i can write w/o pain and don't have to wear arm braces at night anymore lol
