Donald Trump

I'm not an expert on politics, however I'd like  to believe that I have some common-sense. Donald Trump claims "no collusion" with Russia, that there is "no one tougher" on Russia. Pertaining to him (Trump) attending The Miss Universe Pageant, which he "owns", surely common-sense will tell you that if one disagrees with any Nations' or Governments' policy/ies that one would not want to affiliate oneself and/or one's personal business interests with said Nation and/or Government. If for no other reason other than for the simple fact that said Nation  and/or Government would benefit in one way or another, either directly or indirectly. Simply, by hosting the aforementioned extravaganza surely the Russian government would benefit from either direct investment or from the taxation imposed on such an event. Many have said that Donald Trump is not an individual that adheres to any advice given, either because he is unable or unwilling to. It is clear then that he is not an individual that is willing to learn from his own mistakes. Not having taken advice up to this point has done nothing to repair the damage already done to his reputation and it seems his pride will not allow him to allow the advice to effect the desperately needed repair. Trump has done the worst thing for his career by becoming President of The United States of America, and make no mistake this was all about  his career. He did not become or run to become President "for the people", he did so in the hopes of benefitting himself. The current administration doesn't meet with the criteria of " Of the People, By the People, For the People". Note that I have put "People" in upper-case, as this is the fundamentaly most important aspect of any ruling group or individual. "Of the People", maybe, seeing as how his own Family isn't "All-American", "By the People", well, with the electorial controversy... doubtful, "For the People", highly unlikely, in so far as the people on the ground not benefitting in any way. Mueller, Comey, Daniels... Controversy after controversy in the short time that he's been in the pound-seat. He gives himself an A+? Well, ask a five-year-old when that child has been given a task how well it was done and that child would probably be well-chuffed with the resulting achievement. The proof of one's success in any endeavour in terms of result, wether successful or unsuccessful is via judgement made by the People that put you there, that have had expectations based on end-claims, that is to say what that individual claims will be the results achieved. What has Trump achieved? Besides, of course, the fact that he has created more drama than any previous "Leader of the Free World". Lessons should be taken here Leaders around the globe. Be wary of your pride and arrogance. It may very well lead to self-distruction. What we are witnessing, should things head in the direction I think it is, is possibly the shortest-lived Presidency in the history of the USA. I suppose all that the rest of us can do is wish the American People the very best result from all of this that they would wish for themselves. Oh, I must get this in... Well done (the understatement of the century) to MSNBC. Absolutely brilliant work. The fact that the Female anchors are Beautiful doesn't hurt to watch either.
