REAKSYONG PAPEL

Ang aming outreach program ay isang hindi malilimutang karanasan na nagpalakas ng aking pananampalataya at pag-unawa sa kahalagahan ng pagtulong sa iba. Kasama sina Zed at John, nagturo kami sa mga batang mag-aaral tungkol sa parabula na Mabuting Samaritano (Good Samaritan) at kung paano ito makakatulong sa ating pang-araw-araw na buhay. Nakita namin ang saya sa kanilang mga mukha habang nakikinig at sumasagot sa aming mga tanong. Para bigyang gantimpala ang kanilang pagsisikap, binigyan namin sila ng kendi sa tuwing makakasagot sila nang tama. Naging mas masaya at masigla ang kanilang pag-aaral dahil dito.

Isa sa mga tumatak sa akin ay ang kanilang masasayang reaksyon at kwento. May isang bata na nagsabi na tinulungan niya ang kanyang kaibigan na nahulog ang gamit sa sahig, kahit hindi sila masyadong magkasundo. Nakakatuwa na kahit bata pa sila, naiintindihan na nila ang kahalagahan ng pagiging mabait at matulungin. Sina Zed at John din ay natuwa sa kanilang mga sagot, at mas lalo kaming na-inspire na ipagpatuloy ang ganitong gawain. Napagtanto ko na ang simpleng kabutihan ay may malaking epekto, lalo na sa mga bata na siyang pag-asa ng hinaharap.

Ang karanasang ito ay nagpakita sa akin na hindi kailangan malaki o bongga ang pagtulong sa kapwa. Kahit sa maliit na paraan, tulad ng simpleng pagtulong o pagpapakita ng kabaitan, ay maaari nang makapagbigay ng saya at inspirasyon sa iba. Dahil dito, mas lalo akong naengganyo na maging mabuting Kristiyano, hindi lang sa simbahan kundi sa araw-araw na buhay.

Napakaganda ng ganitong paraan ng pagtuturo dahil hindi lang ito basta leksyon kundi isang tunay na karanasang tumatak sa aming mga puso. Naniniwala akong mas mapapalalim pa ito kung mas madalas kaming magkaroon ng ganitong outreach program. Marami pang batang matutulungan at natuturuan, at sa maliit na paraang ito, naipadama namin sa kanila ang pagmamahal ng Diyos sa pamamagitan ng simpleng pagtuturo at pagbabahagi ng kabutihan.

I’m Joel Nelson Y. Macias, a 16-year-old Grade 11 student at the University of the Immaculate Conception in Davao City. I’m currently in the STEM strand, diving deep into science, technology, engineering, and math. Aside from school, I’ve got a few things I’m super passionate about.

Basketball is a big part of my life. I love playing the game, and when I’m not on the court, I’m following the NBA closely. I’m a huge Golden State Warriors fan, and Stephen Curry is my all-time favorite player. His skills and leadership are seriously inspiring. I’m also a gamer at heart. When I’m relaxing, you can catch me playing NBA2K, Mobile Legends, Fortnite, or Marvel Rivals. I enjoy the thrill of competition and connecting with friends through these games.

When it comes to food, I’m all about good eats! Steak with mashed potatoes and a slice of pizza are my ultimate favorites, and I’m always up for trying new dishes as well.
