And because it had Channing Tatum in it meant that it was a silly movie. I still don't think he's cute. Also, that's my other point! When I have time home from work or anything else, you're always in your studio thingy and I never like bothering you because I know how much you love it in there.

Not true! first of all it wasn’t a silly movie… I had Channing Tatum in it. Second: I’ve been home! You know I couldn’t go to work cause of the wrist thing so I just spend lots of time on my studio sketching.

Okay, I know, but it's still not nice! He was always super duper friendly whenever I would go to your house after school and he was never really, like, mean or anything. I still think that because he lives alone and doesn't really have a wife or kids or even a cutie little puppy to take car of that you should be just a tiny bit nicer to him, yeah?

Molls, come on. You ‘memeber Joshy, right? Forty-something year old with the house next to mine? I think we agreed back in high school he wasn’t just some ‘misunderstood lonely old man’, or whatever it was you called him. Definitely a lil’ more sinister than some Alfred-the-Butler figure.

This whole date seemed like a dream to Mollie. For years, she would just picture what it would be like to go on a date with Noah. Years after she got over the initial fact that boy did not have cooties, she had built him up to be this absolutely amazing guy that she would run across a beach in slow motion into each other's arms. And as she got older, she realized that probably wouldn't really happen, but this was closer to anything she could imagine. She's known him ever since they were little kids and has been best friends with him ever since, but she never realized that he was this type of guy. You know, the romantic type that Mollie's only ever saw in movies -- not that she was complaining or anything.

"No, no, I'm not. I'm really not. Don't say that. I--" She couldn't help but ramble on until she felt Noah's hand reach for her face, gently tucking a piece of hair behind her ear. Now Mollie knew that she was dreaming. There was no way that could have actually happened to her. It wasn't like she's ever had a boyfriend or her first kiss or anything else in terms of a relationship. "Oh," she breathed out, looking at him with a surprised expression that quickly turned into a soft smile. She saw his hand next to hers and glanced up at him for a second, deciding to just go for it. Mollie slid her hand towards his and moved her hand under his, slipping her fingers in the spaces between his. She remembered how much she loved holding his hand on the beach and wanted that feeling back. "It's okay," she reassured him, moving herself closer to him. "I think I just like being here with you anyways," she shrugged. "And if you really want, I can ramble on and on about something if that makes you feel better," she giggled, loving the fact that she could make him blush.

Well we are best friends for a reason. Well keep on waiting okay? I don’t even know if something’s gonna happen at all. If it’s meant to happen, it will happen, if it’s not, we’ll just keep on being amazing friends, just like always.
