MANNN I DON'T KNOW the thing abt my opinions is that I feel like they are Correct and therefore Normal. People only seem to disagree with me when I say things that are literally supported by the text like "most of these characters are nonbinary actually." Uhhh I can come up with something though. Idk how "controversial" this is but I find soooo many people's ideas for A Happy Ending to be thematically unsatisfying. Everyone knows I think "running away into space or whatever" is unsatisfying, but I also find "they get turned into humans" unsatisfying and absolutely anything that involves some kind of Wholesome Monogamous Gay-Passing Wedding. At the same time though I think saying "they CAN'T fuck because why would they Show Affection And Intimacy like humans" as if the whole conceit of the show isn't that they do things like humans. Not saying you can't want them to not fuck, but just go "they don't fuck because I don't want them to", the same way I go "they fuck like wild dogs because I want them to." See this all feels so normal to me but idk maybe people's heads are exploding as I speak

The thing abt Crowley that I think is missing from a lot of fan content is people like. how do I word this. people like him so much that they're not willing to make him do things they find unlikable. Crowley's demonhood is usually represented in fan stuff by him like, doing bad things to bad people, people who "had it coming" one way or another, which I think works in serious contexts but is just no fun if you're trying to match the tone of the source! Crowley comes up with and does things that are objectively annoying and unpleasant and that's Fine. It's hilarious. We all need to make peace with the fact that Crowley would play Instagram reels loud as hell on the train, she'd be in front of you on line at the drug store paying with exact change, she'd show up to your baby shower with one of those toys that make a bunch of noise, she invented the leafblower. Etc. These jokes write themselves they're so easy and they're always funny and I want to see more of that sort of energy

One of my bitchiest and yet most objectively correct goomens opinions is that basically no one knows how to do the "Crowley calling Aziraphale 'angel'" thing correctly. People manage to both make him do it Way too much while at the same time making it out to be this Immediately 100% Intimate thing. It most certainly carries some of the romantic/homoerotic connotations as it would for human characters, and I think both the text and Crowley in-universe are extremely aware of this, but it also carries something else with it when the person in question literally is an angel. It can be affectionate, but it can also be a neutral statement of fact, or it can even be mocking or disparaging. "Doing good again, angel?" is like the in-universe equivalent of Crowley loudly revving his motorcycle and calling Aziraphale a square

I do Not think Aziraphale is "butch", per se, and I think it's doing a disservice to refer to him as such, but I DO think that she possesses an inscrutable dykeish energy, which is too often conflated with butchness. Aziraphale goodomens is the purest example of the same set of traits being undeniably gay*-coded or undeniably lesbian*-coded depending on the perceived gender of the person in question.
