Welcome to MomSpace! My name is Shelly Parker and I’m the mom of 4 daughters: Holly (19), Alexis (17), Jamie Lynn (14), and our youngest Rylee (7). To say life is hectic is an understatement, but you can definitely say our life is entertaining.  My poor husband, James, gets to coexist with 5 women on a daily basis.  I’m sure there are times, he’d like to run, but he decides to stick around (sometimes, I don’t know why with all the attitudes going wild). 😊 Did I mention, even our two dogs, Ruby and Daisy, are females?  Poor guy doesn’t stand a chance in our household, but he somehow manages!

I’ve had the opportunity to be a stay-at-home-mom and a working mom over the past 19 years.  Currently, I work as an Executive Assistant at a community college in our area. I love my job, but I miss being home with my girls 24/7.  I was fortunate enough to be able to be a stay-at-home-mom for 12 years of my motherhood journey thus far, but of course, all good things must come to an end! However, our fun times didn’t come to an end.  It has just been more challenging!

Parenting isn’t easy, but it is very rewarding!  I’m starting this blog in hopes of sharing some funny stories, some advice, and maybe some failures! Sometimes we need to see when other moms mess up, because that’s okay! Anyways, I hope you enjoy reading and better yet, keep coming back to read some more! Have a great day, moms!
