So one of my good friends so happens to be a girl.
And one day she came to school wearing a cosplay.
It was Dave Strider from Homestuck. And he is a boy.
So while we were chatting, a popular girl approached us and asked her,
”Why are you wearing that?”
“Because I want too,” my friend replied confidently.
“But you’re a girl.”
“So what?”
After we had to deal with her, she walked away as if we were freaks.
Which we are.
Awesome ones.
REBLOG THIS IF U ARE A SUPPORTER OF COSPLAYING AND SUPPORT THE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO DRESS AS A DIFFERENT GENDER/PERSON
Cosplay is Cosplay and EVERYONE should get the chance to be the person they DREAM of being. No matter what Age/Race/Gender/Whatever YOU ARE. Your’e AWESOME. Thank you Cos-players. And That’s FINAL.
Y’all really seemed to like the other one so I made another one to show off a bit more detail. Clearly lighting isn’t my strong suit but I’m an engineering student not a vfx artist.
I’ll let you in on my little project: I actually modelled the train in CAD as part of a passion project / business adventure I’ve planned out on paper, but not sure about investing in.
I want to make a resin-cast motorized toy train set. It’ll be in HO guage, which is the most popular model railway track width so the train will be compatible commercially available tracks and accessories. The master copies will be SLA printe; silicone moulds and two part resin will be used to make durable and colored copies which will fit on top of commercial model train parts. I’ll model the wheels and integrate it with the design once I get those commercial parts for measurements.
I’ve found bulk sources for parts and supplies and calculated a retail price for each Engine to be USD$36.5 and each car to be USD$20, if I can sell at least 20 of each (I can sell them for less if a huge number of people are interested). And I’ll be able to make subsequent batches for almost half the price because I already have the silicone moulds.
If you’re interested pls dm and/or reblog. If enough people show interest, I’ll start an etsy store. Suggestions, questions and criticism also welcome in dms. And ofc I’d love to also send a set to the Infinity Train team to keep in their office or something (if the show gets continued).
Everything below are notes that @gracekraft took from the Rebecca and Kat Steven Universe Zoom Meeting. I did the basic transcription. Grace was kind enough to elaborate on them as well as help me clean them up.

Rebecca showed some SU Movie sketches in a 9x12 Quattro Sketchbook
Rebecca and Kat talk about their shared problem they’ve had with sketchbooks, where they struggle to draw and finish them because it’s too much pressure. Used to draw more on loose leaf paper.
There’s some more Takafumi Hori art in “End of an Era”
Are songs in SU rooted in experience or imagination?
Usually they start with the situation/purpose of the song in the episode, then mine into feelings and tap into personal and related feelings and bring them into the song and tie into that join the function and meaning of the song.
