I am not sure if this is what you intended, but the mental image was too funny to me to not doodle hfhsdfds
I don't think/know if Stormsurge would go through a similar experience as with a human, but I do think that they would experience temper tantrums and conflicting emotions/thoughts and their fair share of things that are difficult as they get older.
I imagine angry/frustrating scratching things if they cannot deal with their emotions or thoughts, and if some bots frustrate them enough, pinning them with their "horns" against walls before stomping off to cool down somewhere. They're most pretty calm, but has their limits and boundaries.
Tailgate and Cyclonus will help them figure out how to deal with frustrations and difficult emotions, but sometimes it just takes a little time since in the end it needs to click in Stormsurge's processors.
