- Now supports adding Fusion Items (including unlock items) which will add the appropriate amount of bonus stats based on the item used.

- Fixed a function to correctly populate target baby base stats if choosing a target baby after entering the parent stats

- Adjusted error message about incompatible parents for Unlockable monsters when using their fusion item to get them.

- Fixed issue with mobile table collapse (thin width adjustment)

- And... If you were unaware, Saving/Loading/Sharing fusion or fusion progress is also supported!

Play Monster Rancher Battle Card with others for free!

I regret saying "Almost done" lol.

I am glad I went through 366 (x2) more times to replace the Description box dot matrix with the horizontal gradient lines. After going through and tinting the "Guts Cost" box on all 366 Skill cards, I went back through again 366 more times and updated the Description box to look more similar to the original cards with the horizontal gradient lines.

Apparently I have forgotten to shade in the "Guts Box" with monster's theme colors. It's a very subtle thing to miss on the original cards since many cards are light in color, but here's a comparison of adding in the theme color to the guts box VS white.

It's Done (I think): Monster Rancher Battle Card Restoration Project

All Monster and Skill cards have had their bevels re-done, and no text revisions have been spotted in the last month.

The only thing I think I can do at this point is re-do the card templates, but maybe that's a project for next year.

Before / After: Monster Rancher Battle Card restorations

I thought I'd share some of the more difficult cards to touch up and restore. The cards with foil work are very tricky to touch up because you can very easily make it look very obviously painted over. I've put in roughly 330 hours thus far on the cards and art restoration, and I THINK I am nearing the end on this 3rd pass. https://legendcup.com/monster-rancher-battle-card-ccg.php 1. Breeder Card #353 - This was was dark, dirty, scratched up.

2. Centaur Skill Card #327 - I've tried multiple sources for this card, but the card itself is just difficult because a lot of the Action/Motion lines are baked into the card, and looks scratched even with a pristine card. However the brightest card scan still had actual scratches as well to cover up.

3. Metalner Skill Card #291 - This was was difficult to try and smooth out scratches while not losing out speed lines. Where the scratches are along the more solid colors was a bit easier to touch up.

Phase 2: Monster Farm Battle Card Restoration Project

Now that the worst of the card scans and photos have been replaced, most images are between "acceptable" and "good" now. However, There's still room for improvement.

We are searching for Hologram versions of cards that are very elusive. Many are hard to find so we've had to resort to looking at Auction sites and such. Often these are captured at an angle with poor lighting so they have to me meticulously adjusted

Additionally going through and finding opportunities for Color Corrections... such as this one, to bring Pixie's palette more in line with the actual colors...

And revising Trim/border textures. This was my first attempt at texturing. The attempt on the left looks a little 8-Bit NES Mario brick-ish. Adjusting how textures are applied and tweaking the angle a little can really help with asymmetry .

Monster Farm Battle Card (TCCG)

In Japan, a physical card game was released of the Digital-Only GBC and PSX versions of the same name (Monster Rancher Battle Card). The cards are only available in Japanese, but we are working to translate scans and photos of the cards into English, and create card templates for the card art so that the cards all look fairly clean instead of looking like scans or photos.
