It鈥檚 sad and scary how my upbringing has made me completely inexperienced at relationships. The thought of being in a functional relationship terrifies me because I don鈥檛 wanna mess it up. Being affectionate and receiving affection aren鈥檛 what I鈥檓 used to and it scary when I can feel myself kinda shutting down at times. At the end of the day I wanna do my partner justice and hope I can somehow pull it off.

Listing my current goals for the new year helps me stay grounded. I feel like I鈥檓 more likely to achieve them if I do this. Helps me stay focused....not stress out and lose my way. All I gotta do is keep working hard....stay on this path. It鈥檚 a long one, but it just feels so right. Every time I think about where I鈥檓 headed and what I鈥檓 trying to accomplish, I get so excited.
