I dont think we've seen a yellow dress? We've only gotten three Hetty flashbacks so far. One was when she was in a nightgown as a little kid, one was the 1875 pink and white dress, and the last was the 1895 green dress and purple bow!

Hmmmmmmmm. Prices of dye back then largely varied. It depended on what exact shade of color you were getting, and where in the world you were getting it from! But overall, yeah, it was PRETTY PRICY; even more so when Hetty must've originally bought her blue dress, its about 20 years out of fashion! You can tell by the type of bustle she is wearing- its 1870-75 style!

So we've all sort of figured Hetty out to be the liar/secret keeper of the house; Alberta's death, her own death. I just wonder if there's any other big mysterys that she secretly knows the answer to

They arnt necessarily painful, but they are very constricting. You can bend down right and you usually can't take a full deep breath. Paired with the skirts and bustle that Rebecca is wearing, and how uncomfortable her hair must be, it probably gets very uncomfortable. It might be easy at first, but the more she moves during the day, the more uncomfortable its going to feel.

They can be painful if they are sized or put on wrong, or depending on your weight or shape. Rebecca, though it is hard to see her actual body under all that dress, is pretty small. A corset might push in on her ribs and lungs more then it would for someone else.

And remember that she wears this costume every day, about five days a week- if I remember right. The more she wears it, her chest and stomach might get more and more sore. And what she is wearing isn't just an underbust or a garder corset, Rebecca has on like the FULL ON corset!

And no, technically you shouldn't lace it up TOO tight, but actual Victorian Era women did. I'm not sure how historically accurate Bridgerton is, but someone said that they got their waist to the size of and orange and a half! That is TINNYYYYY

I adore both versions of the show, and in my opinion, they arnt something that you can even compare. They are so wildly different- the only thing they have in common are the appearances of Pat and Pete.

CBS Ghosts (American) explores difficult topics- such as Hetty having committed suicide, and betrayal.

BBC Ghosts (brit verson) is better for a lighthearted family sitcom- there are lots of light and silly moments!

Both are absolutely amazing but I as well prefer CBS Ghosts

look, ik that comparing ghosts uk vs us is a hot topic, ik that most ppl prefer ghosts uk but if im being completely honest... i just love ghosts us too much, like, the character relationships !! sam and jay !! the ghosts themselves, like, i just love it so so much. also more episodes is such a plus for my rotted brain
