vinnie hacker smut - hating game - part 1

hi besties - i know its been a long while since I posted - i’ve just been taking a break and also had covid which sucked. I’ve gotten yalls requests and am working on them! I wrote this little bit a while ago and thought i’d post it, let me know your thoughts and if you’d be interested in a part 2 <3

“And then I told him to find someone else to take because I’m not anyone's back up,” Your blonde curly haired friend scoffed, finishing applying her lipstick before looking over at you as you posted the perfect bikini photo to your Instagram story. 

“Are you even listening?” She put the make up down, turning to you as you slightly rolled your eyes, tired of hearing about her relationship drama for the 100th time that week because you already knew how it would end, how it always ended. With her running back. 

“Sorta,” You look up at her from your phone giving her the most honest answer. “Are you almost ready?” you tried not to sound annoyed but the tone lingered. Mia was throwing Thomas a birthday pool party at Hype and you had been waiting for weeks to wear the new bikini you purchased that fit you so perfectly as well as get a bit loose since you had been occupied with work all day every day. 

“Just a sec,” She sighed, grabbing her bathing suit and rushed to the bathroom to change. You shook your head and turned back to your phone scrolling through the views rolling your eyes seeing his name. vinniehacker. 

“Fucking loser,” you mumbled and kept scrolling as your friend walked out of the bathroom ready to go.

“Vinnie?” She questioned grabbing her phone to check it. 

“Yup,” You didn't look up at her as your eyes focused on your phone responding back to some texts you received asking if you were attending the party. 

“I still don't get why you both hate each other,” She laughed, shaking her head “I mean how can you even hate him? Hes so fucking hot,” She gushed causing you to cringe. It's not that she was wrong, he was attractive, probably one of the most attractive men you've ever seen, but everything else about him made him ugly. 

“He's literally so full of himself,” You rolled your eyes. “And he's just always been a dick to me since the first time I met him so why should I play nice?” You order the both of you an Uber and walk out. 

“Maybe he's like secretly into you,” She raised an eyebrow causing you to laugh. 

“After all the shit he’s said to me,” You shook your head glancing at the Uber app and back at her, “That’ll never happen,”

You arrive at the Hype house and automatically get greeted by Addison, Dixie and a few others just hanging around and dancing to the loud music. You knew you’d need to have a few drinks to even remotely enjoy being here. Your blonde friend didn't have that issue so she was already bouncing around on high energy.

“I desperately need a drink,” You let the girls know as you walk around to find the bar area. You spot Thomas and Mia and walk over. 

“Happy birthday!” You hug Thomas as Mia smiles at the sight of you.

“Thanks y/n,” He hugged you back tightly and gave you a grin, you could tell he was already pretty drunk. 

“I was beginning to think you weren't coming,” Mia said, giving you a friendly hug. 

“Why wouldn't I?” You give her a look before grabbing a red solo cup and filling it up with vodka and some type of juice. 

Vinnie walked into the kitchen laughing with Jett and Jack but his face fell straight seeing you standing there. 

“What are you doing here, princess? Isn't this like not your scene?” He eyed you as you rolled your eyes at his words. 

“Bite me Hacker,” You flipped him off tasting your drink to make sure it was good enough. 

“Can you both not do this today?” Mia inserted with an annoyed tone, her eyes shifting from you to Vinnie. He ignored her words, grabbing himself another beer as he studied you. He couldn't help but notice how good you looked, how your breasts looked so perky in your small bikini top and your denim shorts that hung perfectly around your waist with the button and zipper undone.  

“Don't drool,” Jett attempted to whisper but you could hear, you looked up at Vinnie as you both made eye contact for a brief second before he quickly looked away. He rolled his eyes walking past you as his friends followed, giving you a smile. 

“I’m sorry,” You look over at Mia who gave you a smile.

“I know it's not your fault, I don't know what his issue is, but you go have fun,” She said before eyeing Thomas who was pouring down another heavy drink making you laugh. 

“I’ll catch up with you later,” She rushed over to him and you nodded. You downed your first drink, already feeling the warmth through your body before pouring another. You walked around saying hi to a few people before finding your friends to dance with them. You already almost finished your second drink and felt a good buzz. 

“Let's get in the pool,” Your blonde friend suggested jumping up and down in excitement as everyone agreed. The group walked outside to the pool area as some of them already hoped in. You walked over to a chair taking off your shorts and placing your sunglasses beside them. 

You looked over to see Vinnie and his friends close by as you caught him glaring at you, but you did your best to ignore it even though his body drew you, how every tattoo caught your eye. He looked so good it was hard to look away but you knew you had to.You walked over to the edge of the pool and got in diving under water and popping back up. 

“Jake keeps looking at you,” Addison giggled, putting her arm around your neck pulling you in to say in your ear. 

“I doubt it,” You laugh pushing your wet hair back and glance up seeing him sit at the edge of the pool catching his gaze as he gives you a smile. 

“See,” She insisted with a smile “Go over there!” She lets you go, shoving you slightly. You knew if you were sober you’d never, but you were two drinks deep and you could feel it rushing through our legs giving you the liquid courage you needed. 

“Fine,” you pressed your lips together holding in a laugh hoping you wouldn't embarrass yourself. You walked through the pool closer to him as he caught your eyes seeing you make your way towards him. 

Vinnie watched you as his jaw tightened at the sight unfolding. He downed his beer trying to keep as calm as he could but his free hand clenched into a fist.

“Hey you,” Jake gave you a shy smile as his blue eyes pierced into yours. You couldn't help but slightly blush as you approached him. 

“Welcome to LA,” you said warmly as you leaned against the pool edge looking up at him. 

“This is probably the best greeting I could ask for,” He chuckled, taking a sip of his drink and then looking back at you. You smiled at him as the both of you started to have a light conversation laughing. 

“You’re not from here Jake so you probably don't know,” Vinnies voice came from behind you causing you to look at him “But she's been around, you don't want that,” He chuckled as you glared at him. Your cheeks burned with embarrassment as you looked back at Jake who seemed in an awkward position. 

“Don't listen to him, he's just being a child,” you mumbled turning your back to Vinnie as you could hear him laughing with his friends.

“Are you two? Have you?” His eyes bounced back between you and Vinnie, who now walked away, and you finally caught on to what he was assuming. 

“Oh God no.” you shook your head. “Absolutely not,” you lifted yourself out of the pool, upset. “If you could just excuse me for a second,” you stalked into the house trying to find Vinnie.
