and actually im not done i need to speak more this is less spoilers and just a general analysis on hawk/eli's character but i will still tag as such

so from the beginning hawk was clearly one of the best, mostly because of the pure rage and aggression he had. and i definitely didn't like him for it but still his skills were pretty impressive. after he switches teams he kind of loses his skill but i feel like it can be chalked up to him losing the aggression he had from cobra kai THEN after he loses his hawk he suffers an even greater skill loss because he has lost a part of himself and at that point as a hawk fanboy it became too hard to watch. he still had about the same amount of confidence he just sucked then. also yes im aware he won the competition but my point still stands i dont even care this season it feels like the writers dont really care about him enough and it makes sense because theyre focusing on other people but at that point just dont show him at all? to write him constantly failing feels like a major disservice to his character. at this point i feel like i'd prefer him to quit karate and follow demetri to MIT even though he was very against it from the beginning. i feel like the more he does karate the worse he gets i think the usa flag is ruining his mojo because the college fight he was kind of good anyway i think the sheer amount of people in the cast is causing some people to get sidelined and while i know this show has always been about the core four, part of me cant help but get annoyed everytime i see hawk on screen just losing (in addition to devon and demetri because thats just ridiculous that only robby is getting heat for messing up)

in other news we got out binary bro reconciliation.. but at what cost, it feels so?? rushed? like i know we have been watching them fight and theyre obviously not going to give two side characters all that much screentime, i just wish their conversation was more a conversation if im being honest it felt more like a love confession but i digress sam getting zero plotlines compared to everyone else is genuinely angering. her only main presence this part was about that axel guy liking her and getting jealous? i guess that was the only way they could figure out to segway into the axel vs kwon also FUCK zara for that shit she did if you defend her im throwing rocks at you justice for tory, justice for kenny, justice for robby and dare i say justice for amanda and carmen
