I was just thinking that hobie most likely has a criminal record (he probably got arrested for protesting, breaking into places (aka the runway), etc) but like... can you even arrest spider-man??

I honestly feel like, if they had met in itsv, hobie would’ve definitely visited miles during that year between itsv and atsv

I feel like miles (1610) only cares about school when it comes to science and art. like in english, he’s gonna be cracking jokes, goofing off, etc. now you’re in art, ready to hear more of his so-stupid-it’s-so-funny jokes, and it’s just pure silence from him. like this boy is listening to his teacher and taking on the information and tips they’re giving the class like it’s a recipe to save his life or something

and he only knows that aaron would’ve survived if he was a normal kid/the prowler/not spider-man because he met miles g. because of miguel. if miguel hadn’t chased miles everywhere and if miguel had just allowed miles home when he requested it, miles would’ve thought that aaron died when miles was 13 in a similar way in every universe. he wouldn’t have known that him being spider-man was possibly the cause of his uncle’s death.

sometimes I think about how miles was feeling when miles g. said “but you… you can call me the prowler”.

obviously, miles is spider-man.

but remember how aaron is alive in earth-42? and miles g. is the prowler?

imagine how miles felt. his uncle — undoubtedly the person he was the closest to — would’ve lived if he hadn’t been bitten by that radioactive spider.

imagine how much he was hurting, thinking he was the reason for his uncle’s death.

like he was already struggling, probably already thinking it was his fault anyway, but just think about how much that interaction hurt him even more.

but you know what happens both times she falls?

miles (or someone, I think pav caught her in atsv, I don’t remember very well though lmao) catches her.

and it’s always at the very last second - just when she’s this close to the floor, to it all ending badly, he grabs her.

there’s a first time for everything, right? the ‘first time’ isn’t just breaking the canon so miles and gwen can be together instead of the usual peter and gwen. the ‘first time’ will also be the first time gwen stacy will be saved by her love interest from falling to her death.

I rewatched itsv and atsv, and I realised that both movies have Gwen falling. And I think it’s hinting about what’s going to happen in beyond the spider verse.

Also, in the atsv trailer, when Miguel said ‘you have the choice between saving one person, and saving everyone.’ It shows the scene where Miles is trying to catch Gwen. Maybe that one person is actually Gwen and not Miles’ dad.

headcanon that miles g. does boxing professionally (or at least takes it seriously like how miles takes art seriously and that) because he literally has a punching bag in his hangout spot (another hc: while aaron does stuff with their equipment, miles g. practices his boxing and they added/moved a punching bag down there so they could still hang out together). not to mention, I'm pretty sure his hairstyle is called "boxer braids" lmao

it also helps him release his emotions, and he most likely vents to aaron about whatever he needs to while boxing.

this has been in my head for too long so I gotta share it lmao

I like to think that the chorus of conversations by juice wrld is miles’ thoughts in atsv

“the devil hit my phone, he wanna talk

but I’m not really up for conversations”

- the devil = the canon. basically the canon is “telling” miles what has to happen (his dad has to die, for example), but he doesn’t wanna hear it.

“I can have my cake and eat it too

I just gotta make a reservation”

- self explanatory

“chillin’ in my head, but it’s hot”

- his anxiety. the thoughts that go through his head in the spider within. he clearly likes to be in his head (as seen in the beginning of itsv when he was so tuned out he only heard his music) but now his head isn’t that calm sanctuary that it once was, it’s now this burning hell.

“flames everywhere, I see Satan”

- this scene:

- Satan = miguel, the flames = the spider society members surrounding him and keeping him in one spot

“Demons tryna run up in my spot a lot

really, really runnin’ out of patience”

- the Demons are the spider society members during the chase scene. miles was just sick and tired of them going after him and he just wanted to go home to save his dad.

ganke knows what happened last time miles was in a gathering thing + he knows miles probably has some form of ptsd from it. he was making sure his best friend was alright and not stressed.

Watching wayy too many ATSV analysis videos and one brought up a good point.

Supposedly, disrupting a cannon event makes a universe start to deteriorate, right? We’re told that’s what happened with Pav’s and Miguel’s universes, but if that’s true, why didn’t it happen to Miles-42’s universe??

If spider-42 was meant to bite him like we’re told, then why isn’t that universe destroyed? I’d imagine BECOMING Spider-Man is one of the most important cannon events, right? So it not happening to Miles-42 theoretically should have corrupted his world.

On the same note, if Miles-1610 is genuinely the original anomaly, then why hasn’t his world gone kablooey yet? I’d imagine him literally becoming Spider-Man when he was never meant to wear the mask would alter his world much, much more than him saving his father.
