Morganatic is an in-development work of gothic romance set in a fantastical realm.

Fae have as many names as areas of patronage. The Algid: the whisper of fast falling snow, the hunger of howling gales scouring tundra bare, the glint of glacial ice. Winter is under his dominion. The cardinal embodiment of the North has long presided over lands bordered by the St. Marie and the St. Laurent, twin rivers flowing over powerful leylines. As the youngest child of a disgraced noble family, there was little room to negotiate when he named his price for continued benevolent rule. As tithe to a king before kings: a bride. But Andrei Daddano is no woman, and he will be no wife.
