MALEDICTION INFORMATION

Here on Noctis Nocturna, we have created a few additional curses and maledictions, as well as expanded on the families able to carry blood maledictions in general. Below you will find information about known Maledictions in the wizarding world.

CREATURE INFORMATION

We will be allowing the following types of creatures to be made, as well as any additional humanoid creature types members may want to add themselves! Werewolves, vampires, full or part sirens, full or part veela, full or part banshee, part goblins, part giants, and ghosts. Below you will find information for each species type mentioned above as well as info on partial-blood creatures and apex creatures.

TIMELINE

1930

Leonard Spencer-Moon is appointed Minister for Magic

1940

Albus Dumbledore defeats Gellert Grindelwald but succumbs to his injuries shortly afterward. The wizarding world mourns the loss of its greatest protector, and Grindlewald’s wand (the Elder Wand) is stored in evidence archives at the British Ministry, its true identity lost to all.

1943

The Chamber of Secrets is opened and Myrtle Warren dies at Hogwarts. Rubeus Hagrid is convicted of her murder.

1945

Tom Riddle graduates from Hogwarts.

1948

Wilhelmina Tuft is appointed Minister for Magic. Riddle works in Borgin and Burkes, furthering his knowledge of dark artifacts. He begins gathering followers, forming the early Kinghts and Death Eaters.

1959

Ignatius Tuft is appointed Minister for Magic after his mother steps down. Riddle secures a position as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts under Headmaster Armando Dippet. Riddle tries to convince Dippet to open the Chamber of Secrets for "research," but his request is ultimately denied.

1960

A werewolf Registry is established and enforced in the UK with respectable efforts Lyall Lupin. The Dark Lord begins to gain followers in secret.

1962

Nobby Leach is appointed Minister for Magic. Dippet retires, and Minerva McGonagall becomes Headmistress of Hogwarts, thwarting Riddle's ambitions.

1968

Eugenia Jenkins is appointed Minister for Magic. Riddle joins the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic, using his position to gather knowledge and influence. Publicly, he cultivates a respectable image, masking his activities as Voldemort.

1970

The Dark Lord and his Death Eaters begin their first attacks on the wizarding and muggle populations of the UK and Ireland. Minerva McGonagall meets with her closest allies and forms the Order of the Phoenix.

1974

In January of this year, Damocles Belby invents Wolfsbane Potion in an attempt to allow werewolves better chances at integration into society. Despite the objections of the Headmistress, Tom Riddle secures permission to investigate the Chamber of Secrets at Hogwarts, emptying the Chamber and relocating all research found to his private research facilities within the Department of Mysteries.

1975

Harold Minchum is appointed Minister for Magic when Minister Jenkins seems to be too old and unqualified to stop the rising dark forces.

1978

Marauders graduate from Hogwarts.

1979

Regulus Black discovers Salazar Slytherin's locket and steals it, leaving a fake in its place.

1980

Sybill Trelawney speaks the prophecy of the "Chosen One" at the Hog's Head Inn. However, it goes unheard, only being recorded in the Hall of Prophecy. Minister Minchum fails gravely at the protection of the UK and the Statute of Secrecy, leading him to be ousted.

1981

Tom Riddle is elected Minister for Magic. Riddle enacts laws mandating that Muggle-born children attend Charm Schools before Hogwarts. He justifies this as a safety measure against "radicalized" Muggles.

1982

Voldemort publicly denies the existence of Death Eaters, framing the Order of the Phoenix as a dangerous group trying to expose the wizarding world to Muggles.

1985- CURRENT YEAR

Riddle uncovers the prophecy about himself in the Department of Mysteries, still unable to unlock its true meaning. His Death Eaters are ordered to retrieve Sybill Trelawney and interrogate her for the answers.

SITE PLOT

After the early death of Albus Dumbledore, Tom Riddle rises to prominence, becoming a respected Defense Against the Dark Arts professor and later, Minister for Magic. Using his influence, Riddle hides his identity as Voldemort, while secretly advancing his dark agenda. He frames the Order of the Phoenix as radicals, enforces discriminatory laws against Muggleborns, and discovers an ancient spell with the potential to wipe out all Muggles. The Order, led by Minerva McGonagall and the Marauders, fights a desperate underground resistance against Voldemort's oppressive regime, soon to discover whispers of a prophecy that hints of a future savior.
