I’ve had enough of this nonsense

There are so many Morrowseer haters on https://www.tumblr.com and its subdomains. But the claims made to justify hatred towards him are frequently inconsistent with the poster’s values system. Here are some examples of what I speak:

The Morrowseer haters often claim to be on the side of oppressed peoples. And yet Morrowseer is from a massively disadvantaged group! He had to grow up hungry, breathing in smoke, and never seeing the moon or the stars. The RainWings, by contrast, have immense privilege! They enjoy as much food as they desire, and have vast tracts of land that they don’t use.

The Morrowseer haters often claim that violence against oppressors is justified. And yet when Morrowseer engages in warfare against food-hoarders, he’s branded evil.

The Morrowseer haters often claim that racism is bad. However, they engage in extensive RainWing supremacy while claiming that NightWings are evil!

The Morrowseer haters often claim that bigotry based upon sexual orientation is bad. However, they then state that “all straight people suck” or equivalent claims, and append “Morrowseer is straight”. This is blatant bigotry based upon sexual orientation. (Note: Morrowseer is not known to be straight; in fact, he may well be bi.)

To summarize, Morrowseer should have legions of defenders and fans here. He’s from a disadvantaged minority that experiences extensive racism. He had to struggle to get enough to eat and grew up breathing poisoned air. When he dares to make things better for his people, instead of being recognized as the hero he is, he’s seen as an evil, tyrannical monster!
