More bryophyte love - I’m truly wretched at identifying these, but I think we have, clockwise from the top, Hyloconium splendens, a Polytrichum species with Cladonia lichen, Plagiomium insigne, Conocephalum conicum, Rhytidiopsis robusta, Hypnum circinal with Dicranum above, and Dicranum scoparium. Could be wrong, though! Byrophytes are the hard-mode of plant identification!

please tell me more about mushrooms being remains of gods

there is a reason why we substitute meat with mushrooms. there is a reason they have this umami taste.

and that is the same reason why so many love the taste but can't stand the texture. as if it was wrong to eat it.

the fungi flesh of the old ones is a prophecy. it is what we used to be, what we could be. what we will be - once we give into the mycelium. once we allow it to bind us and become one through it.

unlimited potential. interwoven and intimate and divine and with the sweetest scent of the forest bed and decay.

So i have a few questions if thats okay? 1: are these your pictures? 2: if so, what camera do you use? 3: where do you take the pictures? in your yard, or like, a national park? 4: is it okay if i use some of these pictures as my phone background?

It's a phone camera (huawei p30 lite), all photos taken on my usual walks.

These are all from parks in my home town, or from, like, sidewalks in houses-with-gardens neighborhoods, i think some are from my garden too. And a few from travels from Before The Corona.
