No one reads my blog, so here's a rant to hopefully die in the depths of this site.

I want the kind of friendship that understands what the other needs. I want a friendship where I can be introverted for a while, and then randomly jump onto the couch with them and nothing will have changed. I want one where we both forget our plans and no one's upset. I want a friendship without judgement of what I say or do. I want to be able to relax without constantly wondering if I'm saying the wrong thing or talking about a topic for too long.

I don't think I'll have something like that, but when I find it I'll be grateful.

I typically write these feelings in fanfics but.. I couldn't bring myself to write a character going through this, and it feels so selfish to say things like this because people go through worse. Oh well, this rant is long. If you've read this, I wonder why?

A song youre oh so familiar with plays over the car radio.

I am.. all of me. They hum along, and you do as well.

You wonder if they know where the song comes from, but no. There's no way they could, nor would they so proudly listen to it in front of others.

The next song plays. Dreams of an Absolution. You look at them, they meet your eyes and look back at the road quickly. They hum along quietly.

The song ends.

Another starts up.

Escape from the City.

They quickly skip the song, but you've already caught on. You stare at them for a while, a knowing smirk.
