Which is really good and everyone should read
so hard not to become the most annoying person on earth if you're a little excitable and just learned a little about a topic literally no one around you has any interest in

The hissing is not something he will compromise about.
Sketching is coming along, but I’m not finding my flow with inking yet in Procreate. Not sure if it is more about the brushes, the pen, the screen, or the program that is slowing me down yet, but practice is practice anyway.

would you consider yourself an intelligent and sensitive pervert?
i've been saving this in my inbox for months because i don't feel like i have the words to match this. it's a shameful breach of my humility to answer yes, yes i do consider myself an intelligent and sensitive pervert. i love how you worded that. this is like a therapist's screening question.

A little more on this guy and his inspiration.
I really wanted to something as a warlock that was vastly different than your “man sold his soul to an old god for powers”. I thought it would be really cool if he had a holy Patron instead. One challenge with that was, “why is he making a deal with a holy patron, rather than gain his powers through devoutness like a cleric or Paladin?” And the answer came from: he is a total piece of shit. Georgie was a thug. He has spent many many years working for what is essentially the mob and being a total asshole. His work was threats, extortion, and violence towards people just trying to make a living. He doesn’t believe his soul CAN be saved, but since his patrons goal of making the world a better place align with his plans for revenge, he is willing to make it work
All of my characters are an extension of myself in some way or another. With Georgie, he is a big old ball of my grief and trauma. There are a lot of parallels with being violently abandoned by the toxic environment I was meant to believe was there to protect me. His journey to become better is my own, and despite how different he is from my typical character, I have never felt so in-sync while playing as I do with him.
As far as outside inspirations go, there are a TON! And they are FUN:
Odysseus and Athena: He survives life by his cleverness and always having a plan. What if Ody didn’t trust Athena? What if he couldn’t see why she chose him?
Childermass from Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrel: Most notably, I took a lot of visual inspiration from this character. But also! This edgelord is so damn magnetic. He is quiet and never lets on how much he knows. Also leaning on things 😎
John Blackthorne from Shogun: I admit, Georgie’s voice is just me directly doing my best Anjin impression. He was also a guide for Georgie’s place at the beginning of this story, an irredeemable criminal. Someone whose temper overrides any sembles of a survival instinct they might have otherwise had.
Kratos: Speaking of tempers (lol). This inspiration is a bit more in the background but was nonetheless a certain vibe I was attracted to. Kratos, specifically 2018 Kratos, carries this boiling rage just under the surface, all the wounds of his past ready to rupture any moment. You can hear the restraint in his voice, you know that his calmness hides a storm of pain and rage.
And lastly, gotta sprinkle a little zelink too (for me. As a treat): LISTEN OKAY THIS ONE IS A STRETCH BUT ITS JUST FOR ME. It might now even end up being canon but I cannot help myself 🙃🙃🙃 I picture Georgie falling in love with his Patron as the story goes on. I need this man to YEARN for this unattainable goddess. I need him to go from untrusting skeptic to her chosen warrior who would lay down his life for her without a second thought.
ANYWAY
If you read this much, thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better. Thanks for being curious enough to learn about something I care deeply about. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

A character portrait for my partner @mothqueton of his newest dnd character Georgie, and his only friend "George" the cat.
Georgie was your usual thug and low-life, working for a guild on one of the lower-rungs of dirty jobs. He was mean and unattached to anyone apart from the stray cat the guild took in. The cat was already there and named George ironically when he had joined.
However when a raid went wrong and he and his fellow-guild members had to escape an attack, he watched in horror as one of them kicked George straight into the fray to buy a second of time. Georgie barely survived himself, but he went back for George the cat's body and spent the night begging any demonic power he could think of to help. The devils of the world were uncaring. He was already a lost-soul in their books and so Avernus already laid claim to him.
Little did he expect a celestial to hear him instead, offering him to save the cat he loved in return for a new life of service to the rebel's cause.
Now Georige and George have banded together with a small group of misfits, and maybe, just maybe they can carry out the angel's will.
