Unusual hug…

An illustration of Hyu I thought would work well as a comic too! I like to think both of them arent used to the changes Corette is experiencing, though in different ways. Where Corette sees nothing but flaws in herself, Hyu finds her to be charming. Of course they do, it’s Corette we’re talking about 💚🧡

Some drawings and sketches exploring how Corette reacts to the strange mutation spreading across her body. It doesn’t hurt her…that’s a good thing, right?

I want to do more of this kind of character exploration, specifically to show how this mutation plays right into her own insecurities. She’s always felt very out of place (she can’t even decide on a college major) and the arm definitely doesn’t help. At least she basically got a free hair appointment…that’s a way to view it, right?

More OSAS stuff- this time highlighting the relationship between Corette and Hyu. They have to take very interesting roles for each other. Corette needs to find her mother, and in return Hyu provides aid through their spacecraft, knowledge of alien life, and of course their healing abilities. Hyu on the other hand needs to steer clear of STARLYE, (Slomarian government) thus letting Core step into protect them if they ever get into a pickle out searching for her mother. Both are naturally bonded to each other as sort of an unspoken connection. It’s very poetic that way…I love them very much 🥹

My headcanon dark world Noelle design! Her hair is supposed to resemble a snow cone/slushy…I’m thinking of applying the same idea to her robe, though more subtle. I also included some quick sketches of her dress. I just can’t get enough of her Christmas theming, it’s so stupid cute 🥺
