Trying to sketch out the ideas for Hornet's fangs. It's a disaster. The top part resembles spider chelicerae and fangs, but the bottom half resembles a snake. This can legitimately cause some issues with eating, because of the wildly different feeding styles of a spider and a snake. She (and her body) prefers her food to be soft and a little liquid-y like a spider, although she's perfectly capable of eating large chunks more like a snake at the risk of seriously upsetting her stomach. (Which is something she's done before because she was hungry)

I cant wait until I can get Silksong so I can marvel at the beautiful new areas while Hornet thinks of amazing new curse words to describe how much she hates it

we're probably very far off from talking about things I want to see in Silksong but I am so excited for Hornet to actually talk. I want her to be the (metaphorical) straight man in a Monty Python sketch. I want a Pharloom local to tell her something and Hornet has to physically restrain herself from stabbing them

I do like Lacenet but like, really slow and a bit onesided at first. Lace twirling her antennae(?) and giggling and doodling hearts in the soil with her weapon

Hornet meanwhile is suuuuper oblivious because shes way too focused on Not Dying
