A brisk sunny weekend after a few days of rain is the perfect time to go waterfall hunting: flow will be high, and there is still some nice color in the forests. This was Minnehaha Falls over in Rabun County yesterday. Short, easy walk to get to it, and very nearby is Bad Branch Falls. Haven't had enough? Toccoa Falls, just 34 minutes away, is spectacular. Or, head into Clayton for lunch at the Universal Joint Clayton, one of our favs, or Clarks' on Main, another great eatery, and stop in to see our friends at Wander North Georgia, who have one of the coolest shops ever. It's never a bad day to get outside in the mountains, and then back to your cabin for a soak in the hot tub!
