I hate “my” country
America sucks. It’s beginning as colonies and settlements is sickening. Exploiting resources of a natural land and the language barriers. The privalages that men have over women is sickening. The placement of Japanese Americans in concentration camps during ww2, the forcing of Native American to move from their lands, the disregard of anyone and anything that didn’t help the white male is horrid. I am a white female, I have been privalaged because of my skin color and I hate that that’s the case. Why can’t we as humans be like hey! You are a human, I am a human ok that’s it. Humanity needs to get its shit together or destroy its self. I don’t care if I die if all of humanity just wipes our selves out we are horrible to each other and to animals and to this planet that is the only place we can survive. Fuck every religion, every government. As humanity stands we will die out in a few years. Because we are petty and judge people on the colors of their skin or the shapes of their eyes or what gender they are or even their sexual preference. When in your life did any of that hurt you? When did melonin in someone’s skin physically hurt you? When did the shape of a persons eye? Your religion says being in love out side of a male and female relationship causes those people to go to “hell” shut up. It’s their choice and are they physically hurting you? No. They aren’t. You are placeing two or more people into arbitrary confines so you can feel powerful. The only thing I’ve ever noticed that we the same between different religions is “love all” and the “be good to others” shticks which no one wants to do because it doesn’t help themselves. People suck this country I live in sucks and I’m sorry to the people who have suffered in this world. To all the native Americans, the immigrants mistreated, to the holocaust survivors and victims, to the enslaved people’s of this world, those who are exploited and used because of the selfishness of others. Fuck nazis fuck trumps America fuck all of America created by greedy white men, fuck the people who deem their religion more important then a persons right to their body and their choises in who they love. Fuck all terrorism fuck all war. Yes I’m angry, yes I’m venting my hate and rage here if it pisses you off that I’m saying this too bad this is my view on this world. I do not threaten any of these people, though I’m sure someone will threaten me for voicing my view, this is a platform I’m using to express myself, I do not promote violence.

Sucks
You know what sucks. When you forget to take your meds for a while and when you do, because shit I feel sad, they have a stronger reaction in your body and everything feels off and your face is tingling. You wanna throw up. Getting a headache and dizzy spells. These are supposed to help me why why aren’t they.

It puzzles me when people cite LOTR as the standard of “simple” or “predictable” or “black and white” fantasy. Because in my copy, the hero fails. Frodo chooses the Ring, and it’s only Gollum’s own desperation for it that inadvertently saves the day. The fate of the world, this whole blood-soaked war, all the millennia-old machinations of elves and gods, comes down to two addicts squabbling over their Precious, and that is precisely and powerfully Tolkien’s point.
And then the hero goes home, and finds home a smoking desolation, his neighbors turned on one another, that secondary villain no one finished off having destroyed Frodo’s last oasis not even out of evil so much as spite, and then that villain dies pointlessly, and then his killer dies pointlessly. The hero is left not with a cathartic homecoming, the story come full circle in another party; he is left to pick up the pieces of what was and what shall never be again.
And it’s not enough. The hero cannot heal, and so departs for the fabled western shores in what remains a blunt and bracing metaphor for death (especially given his aged companions). When Sam tells his family, “Well, I’m back” at the very end, it is an earned triumph, but the very fact that someone making it back qualifies as a triumph tells you what kind of story this is: one that is too honest to allow its characters to claim a clean victory over entropy, let alone evil.
“I can’t recall the taste of food, nor the sound of water, nor the touch of grass. I’m naked in the dark. There’s nothing–no veil between me and the wheel of fire. I can see him with my waking eyes.”
So where’s this silly shallow hippie fever-dream I’ve heard so much about? It sounds like a much lesser story than the one that actually exists.

I love you for this
Update: Sauron is not afraid of hobbits. He was unaware that hobbits existed up until very recently.  he literally did not have time to be afraid of them, they went from a 0 to 100 threat level in twenty seconds. There he was, minding his own business worrying about the usual Elves and Men when suddenly these kids are on his lawn and now he’s dead, like just;
What did— who–
did I just get one-shotted by an infant how is this occurring

It is an unspoken rule that if a little kid is hiding under a blanket or couch cushions, you are required to comment on how lumpy the blanket is and pretend to sit on it to try and “smooth it out.”

do you ever see someone in some quiet intimate moment and suddenly love them so desperately you feel like you’re dying
#like when they pass a mirror and make a face and mess with their hair a little #or when you hear someone singing in their car with the windows rolled up as they drive past you #i don’t know how to express this i just. people are people and it makes me so sad and filled up sometimes

Another humans are weird space orcs idea because I really like thinking about it. What if aliens have no idea how to hide their emotions? Like, they suck at poker because they can never keep a straight face or anything. or, on a darker note, their ship is hijacked and they can’t keep the fear out of their faces, but all the humans look cold and emotionless to them. Other aliens hating having to bargain with humans becase we can bluff and keep our emotions in check so well, but when they get frustrated it’s all over. Pirates threaten the space ship and they send the human to do negotiations, and the pirate talking is super confused because no matter what threat he makes, the human just doesn’t seem to be fazed one bit.
Someone please, feel free to add to this, I love to see what else people come up with!

Surviving Halloween with Psychosis
- The picture test: If you can’t tell if something is a hallucination or not, take a photo! If it shows up in the picture then you have a keepsake of that crazy creepy Halloween decoration. If not it’s a hallucination (or a vampire. No, i’m kidding it’s a hallucination.)
- Is some kid in mask causing paranoia? Ask them where they got their costume. Did they make it? How did they get the idea? Focusing on the person inside of the costume will help you remember that it’s just a person!
- Avoid haunted houses, haunted hayrides, ect. Actors will not stop scaring unless it’s an emergency, and I’ve yet to find a place that teaches actors how to deal with anything other than physical injuries. (I once met a haunted house actor who said causing a panic attack meant he was “doing his job right.”)
- There’s no shame in asking friends and relatives to avoid sending jump scare videos or anything else that could cause paranoia.
- Here are some tips on how to tell if a video is a screamer.
- (from freeasthepaperburns) Boggart it! If something is making you upset, make it silly. dance with the shadows, sing to the creepies, I bet if make a fish face at the scary face it’ll be a little less scary. I know this is harder than it sounds, but I’ve gotten better at it over the time, and find it helps!
Stay safe babes!

Retail workers cannot go home at closing time until the last customer has left the store.
So that thing y’all do where you come in at 10 minutes to closing, buy half the store, and want to debate prices, super coupon, and price match at the same time is causing retail workers to miss their last bus home a lot of times.
Don’t be that person

‘Honor Killings’ in the West
While the Western media often depicts Muslim societies like Pakistan as particularly misogynistic, they ignore the fact that in the U.S., for instance, 3 women are killed EVERY DAY by their male partners.

Same for anxiety, they often say you have such a good easy life there's no reason for you to have this, it makes no sense so stop.
Most people treat depression as if the depressed person sat down in a room, weighed out the pros and cons, and decided being depressed was a great option.
