Ok, I REALLY love how this one turned out. I am absolutely stoked at the results of this one. By far one of, if not my favorite piece I’ve done so far. I changed up my inking style a bit this time around and actually utilized the different micron pen sizes rather than going all sharpie and going with my instinct. On top of that, I also thickened the outline of the figure to make the demon really pop. I’d like to know what your thoughts are on the results of the demon. Do you like it? Should I color the piece? I drew half Godzilla and half King Kong for my fan art piece today. I kinda messed up on Kong’s face a bit with the coloring but I’m overall happy. I like the inked version better but you can tell me what you like in the comments. For today’s piece the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. For some reason I’ve never drawn them so I took the opportunity to go ahead and cross that off my bucket list. I apologize in advance for taking so long to post today. I didn’t realize how long it would take to color them. I had a bit of struggle deciding how much color I wanted so I had did three different versions. The first one is fully colored, 2nd is just the headbands and shells, and then just the headbands. Let me know which one is your favorite in the comments below. Mine is probably the one with only the headbands colored cause I like being minimalistic 😂. The last 3 are the same thing just enhanced images to make it more clear but they ended up looking like smeared digital art. I ended up not liking much, but maybe y’all might. Anyways, I think what I’m gonna do is draw some Fan Art on Fridays and then do some original stuff for other days. I plan on doing that to keep it fresh and interesting cause I’ll admit I get burned out pretty easily if I don’t mix it up 😅. For this one I did a Beaver. Since they move a lot of wood around I figured that he should be a buff and stocky. The wood texture is so much fun to draw, but man does it take forever to do 😅. This piece was practice with female anatomy and I think I’m cooking along. I went with an eagle for this one cause I haven’t really drawn them before, but it was a lot of fun. I have no idea what that grease stain on the staff is. 😂 The second pic has the ink pens I’ve been using. I might switch between ballpoint pen and inks so I can save on the sharpies cause they run out pretty quickly. Hey y’all. I know I haven’t been consistent with posting lately and I apologize on my behalf. It’s been really hard to come up with ideas for new pieces, but I’m working on it. Right now I think I’ve found something that’s captivated my interest and I hope you will feel the same. Thank you to those who’ve stuck around for the long run, even when there were many dead periods where I didn’t post anything. I truly appreciate it and I hope you can still continue that support. Since we’re still in January and the year is still somewhat fresh, I wanna take this account more seriously and improve my art in the process. I don’t want it to just be about my art though. I wanna be more interactive with you guys and really understand what stuff you’d like to see more of if there are certain pieces that you like. While I’ll probably be doing my own art mostly, I’d be willing to do occasional fan art here and there. If y’all have any suggestions or criticisms you’d like to mention to me, I’d greatly appreciate it in the comments because it helps me improve and see what y’all wanna see me do. In the past I usual gave up too quickly and abandoned the account soon after, but this time will be different. With that said, I’ll be posting more frequently and updating it as much as possible. I may use the stories feature and have polls and stuff in the future as well. The pieces I’ve been working on lately are animal-like warriors with armor. I’ve been using references of the animal and their environments as inspiration for the armor designs. This was an Anubis piece that a drew just recently. For the most part this one was for practice of shadow placement and experimenting with a shading style. It was a bit rough in some of the line work because I’m trying to work on finishing pieces faster so you may see some uneven lines. I still love how this one turned out. What are your thoughts? I’ve started the sketch for the E. Honda piece and I really like how it’s turning out. I might change some things though because admittedly he looks a bit stiff so I’ll make sure to do that.
