We have this amazing theater in Mpls that overlooks the Mississippi River, with what they call the Endless bridge - a piece of amazing architecture that juts out over the river. So. We dig it here. Lots.

It's becoming apparent that story time + dinner time means the Little Man eats way more food. 

Daddy on the other hand, can barely get a bite in before getting greasy fingers poking me and asking me to read on.

Hey Jude (sp)

We're lovers of The Beatles in our household. Big fans. 

I've been singing John, Paul, George and Ringo's hits to the Little Man since he first came to the world. 

So, it was with some sense of loss that I recently realized, whilst we were jamming out too "Hey Jude" in the car, that the Little Man wasn't exactly singing the lyrics correctly.

The chorus hit - and his words hit me - his version: "Hey Jew". 

Which gets even funnier when you get to the end of the song and it's Paul McCartney just singing "Jude-y, Jude-y, Jude-y, Jude-y, Jude"...and the Little Man turned that into. Well. You get it. 

Needless to say, when I stopped laughing and nicely tried to correct him, I was told - unequivocally - "No, Daddy. I'm right. It's Jew. Everyone knows that."

We finally got a break from the rain -- and HAD to spend the weekend outside. Roasting dinner. Shooing mosquitoes. Hikes. Adventures. Naps.
