I'd like to take a minute to reflect this morning. In this time of social and civil unrest in our Great Land we seem to have forgotten what it is we are really fighting for. The pictures above are from a protest in Egypt a few years back. The top photo is a Christian church that is surrounded my Muslims during Mass, and the bottom photo is of Christians surrounding Muslims while they pray. At first glance you might think these are images of protest but on closer review you'll find that both of these images depict and act of immeasurable kindness. Both photos show two completely opposite beliefs protecting one another from the horrible violence that had been fester within the Egyptian boarders. Centuries of hate and warring between two beliefs suddenly comes to a halt when love becomes first priority. People of the United States, we are of one sovereign nation, we are brothers and sisters, we may disagree but that's what brothers and sisters do, but we should never resort to violence, malice, and hate because of disagreement. All those of faith, if you condemn a human being for their race, creed, orientation, or beliefs then you're doing it wrong. And all those on the other side of the spectrum, don't generalize a population based on the acts of a few locked in ignorance. Take your own stand and see things from a new perspective, your perspective, not the media's, not the advertisements, but yours and see things from another person's shoes. Let love prevail, and don't make it fit any one mold. #letloverule #trueequality #onthesameteam
